We have not been to a Frontera in a while so we were excited to hit up the new Buford location. Staff was nice, but service was so slow. The food did come out quick which was nice. I had the baja shrimp taco. Shrimp tasted fake, and were not blackened and not grilled like the menu indicated and the sauce had no flavor. At the end I paid for our meal with the handheld machine with the waitress standing over me the entire time, so annoying. After reviewing my receipt before leaving I noticed they charged me incorrect pricing on the children's items compared to the menu. I was charged $3.39 for children's drinks that were supposed to be $1.49 and $.50 more for one of their items as well. Almost $5 more than what I should have paid in total. They did correct my payment after I brought it to their attention. Check your receipts before paying.

The weight is finally over! And it did not disappoint. It took a long time for this restaurant to open, but it is beautiful inside and has a huge bar. start out with two kinds of sauces, and a queso, which is a nice touch. Restaurant was packed in a bit loud but service was fantastic. Thanks to our waitress Katie we got the large margaritas which you can swim in and always delicious fish tacos and vegetarian fajitas and Burritos all delicious. Super happy that this place is down the street from me.

So me and the wife usually goto our steady "el molcajete" not far from Frontera at Hamilton mill. So we had an "hope this is at least equal to what we are used too"As it's literally 0.9miles away from our home.The first impression was , beautiful restaurant. It's inviting, and a bar is present. We were seated promptly, we looked at the prices. A bit higher than we usually see, but we were determined to give it a shot. What , the heck we don't go out that much. As life, is just to expensive these days but I digress.I ordered the $17 ultimate margarita, yes ouch ! Pricey , but I had two decent glasses out it it. As it gets served with the shaker. And I got tipsy to top that off too (lightweight). But still they are not shy with the pour. It wasn't a machine made margarita the bartender mixed it. Kudos!We ordered the chicken fajita ($15.99 or something like that) and the steak I ordered a hair shy of $20. So definitely a good bit on the price in comparison of what we are used too.It got served so beautifully, also to note they offer bean choices with fajitas. Never, seen that before at the Mexican. As it's standard to get refried beans. There are 3 choices, not being a huge refired bean fan. That was definitely awesome..Anyways , conclusion?Worth every penny, the steak was absolutely leveled up from our usual goto. Super tender , And served beautifully too. My wife, chicken fajita she concluded the same, beautiful grill marks on our meat and chicken.Excellent service, the food was well worth the money spend! Service was also absolutely on point , Jorge was our server,he is fast ,attentive and even tried to score us some whipped cream for on the flan. But unfortunately, they didn't have any.*If you read this Frontera, offer whipped.cream on your flan. Game changer hehe*Anyways we found our new Mexican favorite, Frontera most definitely is it.
