Hattie Marie's Texas Style BBQ & Cajun Kitchen

Food is really good. Had ribs, pulled pork, Mac cheese, fries, and baked beans. All was delicious. Came on a Saturday at 1 and there was no wait. Couple things I didn’t like. Cash only, no change, and they said they had no water. If they would stop the BS to nickle and dime people and just serve their great food they’d be 5/5 no question.

Went with a large group and waited in a decent size line to place our orders. We planned ahead and were sat in a private room. Food was hand delivered to our tables without one mistake. The three meet selection was the BEST. The Mac-n-Cheese and Collard Greens were worth the weight in gold. Incredible. Will return the next time I am in College Park.

From the cashier customer service to the tea was terrible waited 55 min on food actually my order was forgotten. My friend her food was out in 20 min… I had one meat she had 2. Really!!!! I actually wanted a refund but I said I’m gonna try it. Guess what should of stepped with my refund. Will be my first & last time going. Manager came over after I complained about waiting on my food offered me a free side and said.. anything else I can get you like twice I said well yeah another rib( one bone) she said ok. Never brought it back totally act as if she never offered. That’s fine just know the meat was not hot only side was good was the cabbage. Never again. Wish you the best but take these complaints to do better. The hype is very overrated. I could go on but hopefully this will get your attention. People spending real money not Monopoly money ok. #DISAPPOINTED‼️‼️‼️

We visited Hattie Marie’s yesterday ( Saturday) around 2 pm . Long line inside . It’s a Covid hell- hole since nobody was wearing masks . My date ordered the catfish with collard greens , and corn bread . I ordered Mac and cheese, collard greens and 1/2 chicken with the bar b q sauce on top . The only thing tasted good was the bar b q sauce . The chicken wasn’t cooked well . You could see the blood on the inside . My date didn’t like the catfish . The sweet tea was extra sweet . Too much sugar . The inside of the restaurant was very dirty . We will NEVER visit this F rated restaurant anymore. They only had 1 toilet and it was stink !

I had to wait over a hour for my food DIDNT GET THE SAUSAGE THAT SUPPOSED TO BEEN CAME WIT MY FOOD the tough ribs wasn’t good at all only thing good was the bbq sauce i ask for fried crab legs got regular the crab legs are HORRIBLE for the price you’ll think it’s delicious but on a scale 1-10 I give them a 3 I do not recommend going here THIS JUST MY OPINION

Great dining experience! Should also be tagged in the name as soul food restaurant, because the collard greens, the cabbage, and the mac and cheese were to die for. Love the music, the vibe of the restaurant, and the Texas decor and ambiance. Great spot!

The food is DELICIOUS! The vibe is definitely chill. Wonderful experience. Stellar customer service. We will become regular customers ?

First, I go to the counter to inform of a pick up and the worker told me I needed to get in the regular order line (which was almost out of the door). I went to that line and waited for a bit then a lady came from the back to ask what I ordered. I told her that I was not sure since I was picking up my niece's order. She then said that my niece had to be there instead of me. My niece put the order in my name, so we were able to work through that. But as she found the order in the system, she went back to the kitchen area. I stood and waited a while then took a seat in the waiting area to wait for the food. I waited...and waited...and waited for her to return but to no avail. I finally went back up to the counter and asked the original worker about the food. She asked my name and then said, "oh, here it is" and handed it to me. It was there all along! Why couldn't she have just given it to me when I walked into the restaurant? That was 30 minutes of wasted time and some poor attitudes that I had to put up with. That was not worth it at all!

Picked up a sampler of meats (ribs and pulled pork) and sides (mac & cheez, tater salad, baked beans and greens). The ribs were amazing! The sauces come in little self-contained baggies, so the rubs are presented dry. That's just the way they should be! Tender, juicy meat abounds. Also loved the greens, superb and perfectly seasoned. The other meats and sides were nice...BUT the ribs are the winners in the meat category, and the greens are the top side.

I had a flight canceled and had to stay overnight in Atlanta. Saw there were a bunch of restaurants within walking distance and chose this place. I'm by no means a BBQ expert but I really like eating it. I chose the 3 meat option and as a last choice, picked the Jalapeno Cheese Sausage. It was great. I also had the brisket and pulled pork with fries and baked beans. For $35 (which included tip and taxes) I had enough food to feed at least two people. The people working were very nice and I'd definitely recommend this place.

Awesome BBQ! Especially the Dino rib! 2pbs of tender meaty beef rib. Sides and cornbread were great too! And our server Maki was so friendly and sweet!

after hearing everyone bragging about the food, I decided to give it a try, i ordered the half of chicken, with fries, and was very disappointed

**Bake Beans!!** That is all I should have to say about this place! EVERY side on this Menu is Fire with the Baked Beans standing out above the rest!! Looks like they just Opened Recently so the place is clean with a nice Friendly Vibe. Waitress we had was on Point with the Menu. My only Negative is that they didn't have my Yuengling Beer for me to enjoy with my beans but the Baked Beans were so Good I got Over it. I am from KY and came here since it was next to my Hotel and I gotta say this place DID NOT Disappoint! If you are in the area, I would Highly Recommend this place!
