extremely hostile and unreasonable manager, outright disrespectful from the very beginning. Will never ever be returning unfortunately. Food is nice if you're ready to be acosted by an older woman...

Relatively chill and quiet. Most dishes are really good. Do I sit where I can see what's coming close? Absolutely. They have to cater to the crowd and adjust, so not everything that comes by is their best. You can order anything off the menu to come to your table, though.

My husband loves the drink butler robot. My best friend does not.

Unfriendly customer service! The server seems like doesn’t want to be here. Food was cold.

Jade and Jasmine were so friendly and kind! We went on Sunday and their service was so good. We’re definitely coming back for them! The food was fresh, but not anything note-worthy.

You're getting good sushi, but not top notch. Still good quality though. The plates add up quickly. But you get fun prizes the more you eat.

A unique Japanese experience, I enjoyed feeling like we were back in Japan for a fun meal. The sushi was good, the service was great. We traveled over an hour to try this Kura and we were not disappointed.
I admit I was also very pleased to find a Toto washlet in the bathroom. That was a very pleasant surprise.

Kura, please consider expanding to the Clemson/ Greenville SC area in the future!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Decide to try again. And actually ordered something this time just not what I wanted because they don't have shrimp tempura rolls, nor masago. This is strictly come as is simple items. Auto system. Not for me. Initial helper was cool but would rather deal with humans not screens and robots

I must first note that I generally do not give fast food places more than three stars. Some of the reasons for this are the quality of the food for health, the level of ultra processed ingredients, and overall bang for the buck.

The atmosphere is a techie niche trendoid place meets fast food sushi.

The grade of sushi is just below the sushi at a Whole Foods.

However, the price of the sushi was extremely reasonable.

If you have never been to a sushi bar with a conveyor belt or a restaurant with a serving robot, it is worth going here at least once.

I enjoyed my meal here and had a good time.

For me, the overall bang for the buck is a high three AND I highly recommend trying Kura.

The staff is friendly, helpful, and the food is good! My only two minor qualms are that there often seems to be older sushi pieces left on the conveyor belt, and the poor robots can't keep up with the table drink orders quickly at all.

I feel the staff spends more time dealing with the robots than it would take them to run drink orders.

Wheelchair accessibility: This place has a slightly tight floor plan, and limited tables that would comfortably fit a wheelchair. If the stools move, I'd recommend heading to the right-hand side of the restaurant and sitting directly at the conveyor belt bar.

This is my first trip to Kura (Buford) location and let me tell you: compared to the Doraville location, this place has absolutely less to offer with little menu options. The nigiri offered was multiple salmon dishes and nothing else. The beef seemed stale and sauce was cold and underwhelming. The one piece of crab was so menial and sad I was upset I opened the dome. The hand roll was pretty good as it was fresh. This menu is about half of what the Doraville location offers. There was mostly no sushi revolving and we were there a little after restaurant opened. The only good thing I can say is that the staff were friendly and they have clean bathrooms. The lack of options were terrible. Would not go back to this location again. Left hungry and disappointed.
