Great Playplace (only reason to give it a second star). Great fun for all ages of kids!

Other than that though, the employees were not attentive and seemed to be more interested in the local gossip or tattoo stories with the teens hanging out than helping customers. Food wasn’t prepared well, patties halfway falling out of the burgers and they didn’t make our food correct. (Acted like it was an inconvenience for them and that I needed my receipt to prove I had asked for the hamburger without onions- but their machine didn’t produce a receipt which I asked them for when it happened and they told me they weren’t able to print receipts at the counter for the machines…but also didn’t go replace the receipt paper in the machine for the next folks). Bathrooms were gross and sticky. And the employee I saw eating on break at a table got up to return to work leaving their mess all over the bench and floor.

I usually have a pleasant experience at this particular McDonald's. Aside from the tables always being dirty, the employees are very nice & welcoming. However, today is another story. If the door says the lobby/dining room opens up at 5:00 AM, & a customer walks in at 5:45 AM; I don't expect to be greeted with, "the lobby isn't open now". Why post a time if it is incorrect?

So I had an awkward experience that I felt the need to write about and update my review for. I had ordered approximately 7 minutes prior to arriving at this location via the app and when I got to the drive thru kiosk the service rep said that someone had just come thru with the same drive thru code. I don't think it was a technical error but a careless mistake on the drive thru representatives fault. No big deal, but he claimed he told his manager and that he had done nothing wrong. When I got to the second window, the manager, an African American woman, asked if I ordered a coke zero to which I replied with my full order per her inquiry. I also told her that the previous service rep had said that my order has been already claimed by a customer a few cars before me. She looked at a bag that was already waiting there and told me that my order had not been given away. No big deal, mistakes happen. But there was a mistake with my order, as the ranch sauce ordered had been replaced by mayonnaise. This happened in a previous order as well, which made me think they were out of ranch. But when I asked for an extra ranch, and sweet and sour sauce, the manager said I would have to pay for those. A little stingy, but again not a big deal, so I got two quarters and gave it to her. She asked me surprisingly, you still want the sauces? I said yes. She then took the two quarters and then replied that it's 53 cents. I gave her a dime, and she gave me a ranch and sweet and sour. I told her that 3 sauces is not enough for a 20 piece chicken nugget, to which she replied you're welcome. She didn't give me my change and when I found out they originally didn't give me the ranch sauce I ordered via the app and replaced it with 2 packets of mayonaise it just begs the question, what kind of mickey mouse operation do they have running there?Here's what I have a problem with. The manager's attitude, her not giving me my change for the sauces she claimed was extra, and the mix up of my order.

I am lowering my review from 3 stars to 2 stars as this whole ordeal left a bad taste in my mouth.
Oh well. Personally, I think the manager on duty needs to be replaced. Her attitude is not right and her accuracy with orders is suspect.

Usually great. Stays fairly clean; even when busy. And the food is always at a good temperature (in my experience). The one male manager I've experienced who was also there today is always super nice, too.
The only thing I strongly dislike is how most of the time if you order on the app or kiosk and select a table tent or table number (marked in the silver circle plates on the tables) to have the food delivered to your table, they don't want to take it to your table and they don't even call your number out until it's been sitting on the counter getting cold for a while. I was there today and a dad was in the playroom with his child waiting for his food. I saw when they placed it on the counter, but they called his number AFTER it was sitting on the counter for 10 minutes. He couldn't even hear it being called because he was on the other side of a glass wall. Which probably explains why he wanted table service. Not counter service. But I looked in the playroom and noticed his table tent after they called it out and I got his attention to let him know his food was ready. There was also someone else's order sitting on the counter before I even got there and for 18 more minutes afterwards before they called the number out.
My point is, if you request table service, you should receive table service. Otherwise, you're just going to assume they're just taking too long, like the time I stood at the counter for 45 minutes waiting for a to-go order (which rarely happens, but it happens). Don't offer table service if you're not going to comply with the request. Just like when curbside isn't available and it's marked unavailable on the app. Do the same for table service or something. Yesterday I Waited over 30 minutes for a coffee I never got. There was a line of about over 15 of us waiting in line to either wait for a missing item or fixing an incorrect item etc. No one even came up to ask us what we needed. The manager hid behind the back where you could hear him asking “what do all those ppl need.” Maybe come out and help?
