Over The Top Burger Bar

Our experience at Over The Top Burger Bar was far from satisfactory. Despite having reservations made a month in advance, we still had to wait for our table in a nearly empty restaurant. Service was lacking; we were informed they were out of many menu items, and getting drink refills was a hassle. The service continued to falter when they informed us there was no clean silverware available “anywhere in the restaurant”.

As for the food, the Cracked Rear View Burger was a letdown - for $19, the burger was just mediocre with a small amount of BBQ. The onion rings costs an additional $2 and they literally brought out 4 rings.

The overall experience was poor, especially disappointing since we were there to celebrate a birthday. If the service and food would’ve been better we would’ve hung around and spent much more money than we did. They missed out.

Took my family to eat here and we had a waitress by the name of Macey! Such a sweet young lady striving to provide for her little, we adored her so much we will be back! Thanks for the great service and the food!

We have gone to OTT Burger Bar for the past several years around the holidays. We normally love the decor, atmosphere, service, food, etc., and it's hard to get in because they are so busy. We (a family of 6) went Monday, Dec. 16th, around 5:30 pm to "beat the crowd". They weren't busy, a few tables and people at the bar. When we were seated, we ordered two of the Peoria Poutine to share. It is one of the unique and typically delicious items on their menu. They came out fairly quickly, but we didn't have silverware. There were 3 sets of silverware for 6 of us. We asked for more. When they didn't bring it in a timely manner, we assumed they had forgotten. Our waitress was not around, so we got up and went to the bar/kitchen to ask about it. They told us they didn't have any clean silverware, so they were washing some for us. How do you not have clean silverware at the beginning of dinner service???? We waited at least 10 more minutes for silverware. By that time, the food was cold. However, we dug into it because it's something we love. When we started getting in to it, we didn't see any cheese curds. That's one of the highlights of the dish! We poked around in both and didn't see any. When our waitress came back to the table, we asked about the cheese curds. She told us that she had just found out about five minutes ago that they were out of cheese curds. We asked why would they not tell you that they were out instead of sending a subpar dish to you? She didn't know, said she just found out, and it was "my bad" to not let us know. She said she would not charge us for one of them. I'm sorry, but we shouldn't have been charged for either, but we didn't fight it because we did munch on it while waiting for our other food. Our entree order was simple. We had a few burger dishes and a salad. One of us ordered a burger with onion rings instead of fries. It came out with fries. When we told the guy who delivered the order, he started to take away the whole plate, but we said no because we didn't want the burger to get cold. The waitress came over not too long after, and we told her it was supposed to onion rings. Again, her response was "my bad". They did eventually bring out the onion rings. She didn't come to check on our drinks or anything else. We basically had to wave her down or look for her when we needed something. We had to ask for drink refills. It was just sodas and tea. She took our glasses from the table to go refill them. We thought that was odd too. Were they out of clean glasses? Overall, we were very disappointed in the whole experience, but they didn't seem to care. Unfortunately, we will probably not go back. We certainly won't recommend to our friends.

Just a great customer service experience with good vibe and great food. Laid back atmosphere with\without the kids.

Vegetarian options: Pretty much just a veg burger so some limitations there.

Parking: Handicap parking right at front door

Kid-friendliness: Yes and recommend especially around holidays as they do a good job of dressing up the place

Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level so easy access
