Well, we visited this brunch spot years ago, perhaps when it first opened, and we weren't impressed. However, today we stopped by after voting, and MANE, this spot is on point! The food, service, and cleanliness were excellent.

First, this restaurant is usually mad crowded with an insane wait-list, but today it was easily accessible around 11 AM. It was clean, moderately quiet, and nicely decorated. The floors, tables, and kitchen area were clean. I loved the chalkboards on both sides, highlighting a specialty item and the wifi code for guests – very nice.

Second, the service was excellent, not overbearing with elevator banter or gaslighting for a 25% tip. We loved our waitress Laura, who actually waited on us years ago. She was attentive, friendly, and radiant- cool with a smile.

Third, the star of the show was truly the brunch items. We had the American breakfast, and I created a new item not on the menu – a Chicken Philly Omelette, subbing out the ground beef. OMG, see the pics! The food was absolutely amazing, from the flavor to the seasoning. I even enjoyed the frisbee-sized pancake and the perfectly seasoned chopped potatoes. The table next to us had a variety of their burgers – move over Friday Teds!! They looked absolutely insane. I can't wait to try them.

With that, I highly recommend Oy! Breakfast and Brunch to my local friends. However, I do recommend visiting Monday-Wednesday because the weekends are packed. My breakfast spot rankings in Buford/Hall just changed: #1 Oy!, #2 J Christopher, #3 Snooze, #4 Flying Biscuit, #5 First Watch, #6 CBarrel, and #7 Waffle House.

Great omelettes, fast friendly service, and giant pancakes! Kid hit and just right for a family morning together. Very cute space. Grab your groceries after. Pick the hot cup of black coffee—the lattes were served lukewarm warm unfortunately. The OJ is not glass fresh. Wish they opened a hour earlier. Would return and now know what is best to order for the next time!

Oy is hands down the best breakfast and brunch spot I’ve ever tasted. I have eaten here several times in store and ordered to go and it’s always great and fresh and variety of options. I love this place!!!

Potatoes and eggs were excellent. Definitely not a fan of the steak. It was rubbery and no seasoning. I liked everything else. Pancake is huge! Nice atmosphere

I think we just came during a rush time (1pm on a Sunday), right after church. We were 21st on the waiting list and quoted a 45-minute wait. It ended up being about 45–50 minutes, so they were accurate. After 20 minutes, we were able to sit on the waiting benches instead of standing, which helped since it was cold outside at the end of October.

The cold brew with hazelnut (as someone suggested) was perfectly sweet, no whipped topping for me, and it was the best! The potatoes were peppery and delicious. The Power Diet omelet was piping hot and really good; K liked it a lot.

Unfortunately, the bacon was burnt on JO’s BLT, and my side of bacon was also overdone. I sent mine back, but the server said the rest of the batch looked the same, so I cancelled it. That’s the only reason this is a 4 star instead of a 5 star review.

The grits were decent, even better mixed with ketchup, eggs, and sausage. JO’s macaroni was creamy but could use a little of whatever seasoning is on those potatoes, it would really make it pop!

Our server, Ye, was great, friendly and attentive. I don’t normally like pancakes, but theirs are really good, and the plate was piping hot. K ordered the strawberry pancakes and loved them. Those pancakes are huge!

Overall, I’d definitely come back, just hoping for a less busy time next visit.

We were excited to try Oy! for the first time, but unfortunately had a disappointing experience at the door. When we arrived, the host just stared at us before asking if we were on the list. After saying no, he told us he’d add us and to sit down. While we waited, several other parties were checked in and seated, but we were never called or updated. After a while, it seemed we’d been forgotten, so we left.

It’s a shame because the food looks great, but the lack of communication and attention really put us off. Hopefully, this can be improved for future guests.

This was hands down the best breakfast food I've had in a long time. I'm not from Georgia. The service was A1 food was A1. The wait for the food was the fastest I've ever experienced. Food was hot and fresh. Seasoned perfectly. I had the lemon zest pancakes with blueberries & Angus Omelet. Highly recommend tourist stopping here if your in the area. 👍🏾👍🏾
