4-21-24 When we pulled into the parking lot at Papa Jack's, it was a mad house. People were trying to park while others were in line for the drive- thru. When you walk in, you stand in line like in a cafeteria. They have their menu on a board of what they're serving on that day. I had the pot roast ($1.50 extra & they were very frugal with the potatoes & carrots), mac & chz, cabbage & cornbread. For 3 of us, it was $42+ a tip, which = $50. The cashier asked for a tip & I'm not even sure who it went toward considering we had to carry our own food... We did meet a man & had lunch with him. It was nice meeting & talking with you, Dave!! ☺️ Hopefully, we will cross paths with you again soon while here in Buford.

I would definitely get breakfast here a lot more often if they didn't ask for a tip in the drive-thru. Like what is that? Why would I pay extra when there are literally four other restaurants that serve breakfast right there? Not to mention it's super awkward when they have your food hostage asking for more money nobody wants that. What service am I even tipping for? Seriously y'all need to quite that. I don't mind tipping the waitress inside but this drive-thru nonsense has got to stop.

Verbally asked for a tip… in a drive thru…It’s one thing to give the device to the customer to select a tip or no tip if they wish but it’s a whole new level to say “would you like to leave a ___% tip”Thanks but no thanks.
