Taste is ok but options are limited and pricey. There has to be more options and food can have some better bbq variety. Sauces are good but hey I prefer meat with my sauces

Small place, decor appropriate for the cute name. You order at the small counter with the food in bins in front you, each labeled with the food item it contains. They are open Wed through Sat. We went in Saturday evening. Guess that's not the best time to go. We were the only people in there, many food items were not available. Guess they run out of stuff by Saturdays. Wednesdays may be the day to go, after they have been closed 3 days and have cooked more food. With that being said, we had the last of the Burnt ends, served in a savory sauce, pulled pork that you then add yourself the type of sauce you want from the other table. The person behind the bins dips up your plate for you, this is not self serve. The sides available were baked beans, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese collards, Brunswick stew , and sweet carrot souffle. There is nothing fancy here. The soda machine is self serve, as well as the tea. Food was okay, have had better BBQ elsewhere.

I am 74 years old, born in Alabama and raised in Georgia, I have been eating BBQ my whole life. I have had BBQ many different places/states and especially around the Southern states. Some I liked, some I did not. I have to say this place is horrible, not even real BBQ. It is not the worst I have had but it runs a close second. When the baked beans are the only thing on your plate that is palatable, you are not in a good place. You need to have some really broken taste buds to enjoy this extremely poor excuse for BBQ. I had the "burnt ends" , they looked and tasted like the pork had been boiled and BBQ sauce poured over it, just terrible and the Brunswick stew SUCKED. I would like to add that i was served at the counter, had to take my on plate, pour my own drink, all on styrofoam with plastic ware and cost $15.00, outrageous.

Wow! Every bite of every item I had was simply amazing... I had the BBQ Meatloaf, Burnt Ends, Brunswick Stew, and Mac & Cheese. I added a "mix" of their extra sauces...the Lexington sauce (with vinegar in it) mixed with the Spicy sauce. A taste l have never seen the like. Incredible...Perfection... And the combination taste added to the meats really complimented the taste of the Brunswick Stew also...and the Mac & Cheese was just plain delicious on its own. Great Job... And, the owner was also very friendly, which was good to see also. Without a doubt...the absolute best BBQ I have ever had...from coast to coast and points between.

Good BBQ close to home. They were out of a few items on our last visit but the meal was still tasty and the quality was good. I hope the best for this restaurant and give them 4 solid Yelp stars. Great tasting BBQ in Buford. Thank you!

1st time trying on 11/19/21 and I am kicking myself for not going in sooner. Everything we had was awesome! Ribs fell off the bone, the burnt ends were great and my first time trying carrot souffle and it changed my eyesite it was so damn good! Bad news is the girl said they might be closing up so get it before its gone. Fri and Saturday they have the racks of ribs.

One cannot live on bread alone and the folks at Praise the Lard will make sure you get your favorite meat and two sides.I can speak for the pulled pork sandwich platter. Tender, moist and Southern, with comfy Mac n’ Cheese and a cup of Brunswick Stew.Don’t forget the sweet tea, y’all.

If you haven't tried this place, you should apologize to yourself and go already! Great atmosphere, great food, great service! We've gone out of our way to make it there the last two times we visited family in Lawrenceville & will continue to do so! Max takes care of his customers & makes you want to come back for more! The corn souffle is terrific, btw. I eat it as a dessert! Praise the Lord, for Praise the Lard! (Sorry, couldn't resist! ?)

I had Carrot souffle, Mac /Cheese, Smoked Brisket and Smoked Chicken. The food was good. Spent $16. Didn't like barbecue or honey mustard sauce. I was the only customer there. Lunch time on friday.

My husband and I literally just left the restaurant and I couldn’t wait to post a review! That’s how amazing it was! Best BBQ I’ve honestly ever had!

My wife and I decided to try this newly reopened restaurant. It was a very good decision. If you're a lover of very good southern food, don't miss it.One of the very best Collards made with fresh products I've ever tasted. I could have made a meal on that. The Manager, Penny, will make sure you feel comfortable and your satisfied.

Where to begin? This was our first time at this establishment. First, the staff were super nice and helpful. Our problem is with the food and the value of what you receive. The portion sizes are very small, especially the sides. Don't expect to get a separate container of sides. You get a small scoop on a plate with your protein. The protein (chicken, pulled pork and ribs) were all extremely dry. It tasted old, not fresh. Flavor was bland. Also, don't expect any extras, no bread or roll included. The descriptions on the menu are not good either. I order the chicken and pork combo plate and was shocked to see a leg quarter. No pulled chicken as expected...no white meat! They were also out of sweet tea, so they took the whole container of no sweet tea, poured 5 pounds of sugar in it and handed it to my husband and said "here you go!" We paid $40 for me to eat a little bit of pulled pork and some chicken legs. The ribs were not edible. It's truly a shame because we love to promote non-chain businesses. However, our experience leaves minimal to rave about. Save your money and take a ride to Jim n Nicks or City Barbeque.
