Not sure what happened but the kids they hired make your 13$ smoothie bowls half full now then said that’s how they were told to do it - for that reason I will not return - there is a line on the smoothie bowl - that line is for the base NOT the entire bowl- the bowl should be full - the smoothies tater food but I’d suspect they are doing the same thing there with ingredients in the smoothie boosting flavor with juice not giving you much of anything else -
I won’t come back- if I have to tell you how to do your job and it is not obvious to you that no one including yourself would buy that but you serve it to me - it’s over !
I literally had to say something about it then they agreed that yeah it’s not right but then said that’s how they were told to do it - makes me suspicious because I’ve had bowls here in the past that were correct - seems like whoever is responsible to train these new kids are either greedy or lazy- not sure but again I won’t be back regardless - can and will make my own smoothies and bowls without fillers - all fruit for a fraction of the cost - this location- I can not recommend it - -

SmoothieKing At Hamilton Mill is a joy to go to. I almost always exclusively order online & when I go to pick up my smoothies, they are ready to go by the time I get there! Your employee joey was absolutely fantastic. My smoothie was exquisite with a perfect balance of all ingredients. He made my smoothie fast and efficiently.He was very polite and treated me with upmost respect. Even saying he appreciated me as I was walking out of the store.

People are the point

I visited your location today to purchase a smoothie. When I entered, there were two team members behind the counter who appeared to be busy making drinks. One of them looked up, greeted me, and continued working. I stood by the wall near the register and waited patiently for about 3–4 minutes.

A woman then entered the store while talking on her phone and walked directly in front of me to stand at the register. A few seconds later, the same employee who had greeted me earlier finished what she was doing, then greeted the woman and took her order — without acknowledging that I had been waiting. She glanced at me during the interaction and clearly saw my surprised expression, but still didn’t say anything or address the fact that I was there first.

Perhaps the woman didn’t see me since she was on the phone, but the employee definitely did. Despite this, I chose not to make a scene and let the woman go ahead. After her order was taken, the employee finally took mine and returned to preparing drinks.

What was frustrating is that the woman who cut in line received her drink, then several other customers came in to pick up their online orders — all of whom were served before me. The staff continued working on those orders while my single drink was delayed. Eventually, the second employee, who hadn’t noticed me before, looked up and asked what I was waiting for. My wife came in at that point and asked why things were taking so long. I explained that they had been prioritizing online orders.

Even though I was the first customers inside the store, it felt like I was treated as an afterthought. I understand that online orders are important, but it would’ve been simple and fair to make my one drink somewhere in between those larger orders.

Once I finally received my smoothie, I made sure to look around for a way to leave feedback. I hope this message can be used constructively to improve how walk-in customers are treated, especially when it comes to fairness and acknowledgment.

I came to this location for my typical Angel Food smoothie and it was made to perfection! The staff was courteous and got me in and out! I will definitely be back!
