In the past 30 years, I have eaten at Sonny's BBQ throughout Florida and Georgia, and even as far as Baton Rouge, Louisiana. And in that 30 years, I have never eaten at a Sonny's As good as the one in Buford, Georgia. I drove over 50 miles to eat here this morning, it is the second time I've eaten at this location, And they did not disappoint. Their Ribs are fall-off-the-bone and they are the best that I have ever had. This location is the best Sonny's of them...
Had the smoked chicken. It was great ( white meat ) the dark was still fatty. It had not rendered out. Sides were very good slaw and baked potato.

The service here has done a complete 180!! Hailey is by far a Godsend for this business!! I've never had a server so genuinely kind and attentive to me!! Aside from the fantastic service... The brisket keeps me coming back!! I really appreciate the quality of food and service at this location!
