The Twisted Crab - Buford

The food is of a Cajun flavored nature. It's depends on ones order. It is a place I wouldn't frequent often. The food is very fresh, the atmosphere is wonderful and the service is good.

Parking: Plenty of parking but shared with other business. The lot can be crowded at times.

My friend and I enjoyed a great lunch at the Twisted Crab. The restaurant even opened a few minutes early for us when they noticed us at their door. The food we ordered was served quickly- hot and delicious. Overall, it was a terrific experience. I look forward to going back.

I recently visited this restaurant and was extremely disappointed. The service was atrocious—our server seemed uninterested in helping us, but readily available to assist the tables around multiple times. To make matters worse, the food was bland and lacked any real flavor. I expected fresh, delicious seafood, but instead, everything tasted dull and unseasoned. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

Came here for date night, host stand empty, multiple people came by and decided it wasn't their problem, somehow after 15 minutes got a table and was ready to leave. The bartender came, got 1 of our drink orders, and left.....30 minutes later we get our second drink order and food put in.

Fast forward 20 minutes a drink appears, fast forward another 40 minutes, one of our food orders (shrimp po boy) appears. The shrimp is lukewarm and the fries are cold but at this point I can't send it back lest I'm stuck here for another hour. Skip ahead 30 minutes and the crab order appears, it's the only half decent thing that's come out so far. During this entire ordeal our server has talked to us about two times and multiple times we have to flag down unrelated people.

Finally, 3 hours later we get our check for 2 drinks and 2 meals and we're out. I informed whoever runs the twisted crab support email but it seems to have been ignored, hence why I have to go this route, this was on may 17th, 2024

Don't bother giving a "we're sorry to hear that" response because you had a chance when I emailed

The atmosphere was welcoming & Kayden our waitress was caring & so hospitable. The food is outstanding and will inform others about the great prices. We will make this our favorite place to enjoy a great meal.

The servers have to purchase their own crab claw crackers to give the patrons to eat with!!!! If you get a server who has purchased these on their own FROM the restaurant owner then you’re in luck. Otherwise you get plastic forks and paper plates!

9.24.24: Update to Twisted Crab’s reply in September. The staff at your restaurant told us that . We asked why we didn’t receive the crab utensils normally provided by other restaurants and that was the explanation we received. We will try your establishment again and hopefully we will not have this issue again. Perhaps we just had a disgruntled worker that evening.

I had an amazing experience at The Twisted Crab! The decoration is very thought out and beautiful especially at night! I love the daily music genres, gives everyone something to enjoy. Managements attention to details to ensuring a good experience from behind the scenes does not go unnoticed. I came once before the new managers began and it was nothing compared to this experience. So glad they got better management. Our server, Ethan, was fantastic and truly made our visit memorable. He was attentive, friendly, and had such a positive energy that brightened our entire meal. Ethan’s service was impeccable, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He was a ray of sunshine and really put a smile on our faces. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was vibrant, but Ethan’s exceptional service made our night truly special. We’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend asking for Ethan if you want a top-notch dining experience!

Pretty good! We had the catfish basket, and the lunch special 3/4 lb headless shrimp (lemon pepper/medium). I’ll do hot next time, the medium was more of a mild. The service was spot on, our server was super nice and left us needing nothing. I do wish they’d provide the plastic gloves like the other “bag” places around. Recommended though!

This seafood spot has nice atmosphere, but the seafood bag was just okay to me. I couldn't really taste the flavor of the seasoning. The mild wings were good.

The customer service here was horrible. The hostess had menus in their hand ready to seat us as we walk to the front. Once we were sat we waited for 10 minutes before I ask who will be our waiter then the hostess came back over and stated that the waiter was busy. Not to mention the waiter never came over to ask if we need anything. And before she could bring the food out we needed refills on our drinks. When it was time to pay the waiter gave us the bill and we waited for about 15 minute before we went to the front to pay.

Yummy seafood, delicious snow crab, reasonable prices. Amazing staff, amazing drinks
