I’ve came to this location 2 twice and both times they are always say they are out of items. She advised oh it’s Sunday everything goes fast. Sis it’s only 3 pm. Please prepare better! No sweet potatoes, no peach cobbler! SMH!

The Mac and cheese was outstanding.

Boy ain’t no way in hell I just spent $45 on 2 plates and they taste like this! Mac&Cheese noodles was hard with no flavor. Greens hot as hell. Not temperature hot but spicy hot. The yams taste like straight out the glory can. Then I asked the girl could I get no ice on my lemonades she told me because they low on product, she had to. Me & my husband have no problem spending money on good food but there is no way I will be back. I give it 2 stars!

I tried Touch of Flavor this past Saturday. I saw a review on TikTok and was in the area so I thought I’d check them out.

The food looks appetizing. The fish and shrimp were fried beautifully. However, just about every thing I had was over seasoned. I got the fish and shrimp plate with greens and candied yams. I also got a side of red beans and rice which was the only thing that wasn’t over seasoned. The fish, greens, and shrimp were extremely salty. The yams were too sweet. It was nauseating. I struggled to finish the plate.

Also, the food is overpriced and the value doesn’t match the quality. Swai is an inexpensive fish. You get one piece of fish on a $20 fish plate with two sides. To me, it just wasn’t worth it. I’ve gone to another local spot that serves excellent food and their fish plate is priced the same but the portions match the price and the quality and taste far exceeds what I purchased here.

My experience here is proof that a lot of people be lying on TikTok. I will not be back but I hope the owners read the reviews and take the constructive criticism to make improvements. The potential is there, but there is a definite issue with the seasoning of the food and the portion sizes compared to price.

We came from NC very hungry and ran in right before closing. Our food was made to order and we were able to sit and eat. Everything was very delicious and tasty. The staffs were friendly and professional. ❤️❤️❤️

Came here on Friday night food was so good I had to run it back on Saturday. I ordered the seafood plate with fried fish, macaroni and cheese, yams also added collard greens and brussels sprouts. Some of the best soul food I’ve had in Buford please give these folks a try.

Please listen….my mom and I just left and we had to throw away the food mid-eating. 75 bucks in the trash. The salt was UNBEARABLE! We called and told the girl at the front & she said she hadn’t heard anything about the food we ordered being salty. I go to the reviews and every other review is about the salt levels in this food. All of it. You guys are going to land someone in the hospital. It’s…Rinse your mouth out type of salty! I wanna live a pretty long life, so I will not be returning.

I went today and got the fried shrimp and fish with two sides. I didn’t like the side which was Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes. Spent $29.68 and it wasn’t worth the price. I won’t be returning again.

This restaurant is a small cozy spot, with some amazing food. I always call ahead and my food is always hot and ready sitting on the counter waiting. The chicken plate fried is one of my favorites and it always seasoned to perfection. If your in the Buford area you should definitely give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

I paid $21 for two pieces of chicken that look like tenders & one waffle. I was still hungry after I finished. The food is overpriced and small portions. I won't be returning.

This was my first time trying this restaurant, and unfortunately, I wasn’t satisfied. The macaroni had no flavor at all, and the fried shrimp were extremely salty to the point where I couldn’t eat them. The yams were very sweet, but overall, I felt like I basically paid $21 just for yams and unseasoned mac and cheese. I also tried the brownie, but it was made with dark chocolate, which I personally don’t enjoy—so if you’re not a fan of dark chocolate, beware. Really disappointed with this experience.

Sadly this was a horrible experience and when I expressed feeling a bit more welcome to the manager, she told me that I needed to smile more. Broussel sprouts were good tho 🙄
