Had an awesome supper at Pickle Patch last night. They have a wide variety on their evening menu. Food was delicious and very affordable. Great staff. Attentive. Paul even stopped at the table to check in and see how everything was. Nice to have another option in Cairo to eat on a Thursday or Friday evening.

I went here for the breakfast buffet because I did not feel like cooking. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety and completeness of the offerings. The food was good and I had no complaints.

A friend has told me about them having a seafood buffet at lunch on Thursday. I decided to give it a try and was not impressed. Fried shrimp, BarBQ shrimp, fried catfish and clam strips. I was disappointed in the selection and the preperation. They have a very nice salad bar.

I ate there tonight and was really disappointed. On my way in a young blonde waitress took my drink order before I sat down and I never saw her again. I got my own refill of my water glass. The seafood buffet was barely OK. I will not be back. If you decide to go, take a fly swatter with you.
