My wife and I absolutely love big johns. She has a gluten allergy but loves hamburgers and they are happy to accommodate for her needs. My self think there pulled pork BBQ us the best in town!!! Sides are amazing and love their corn nuggets they are mind blowing delicious makes ya tongue slap ya brains out lol. Highly highly recommend also check the daily specials ribs that'll make you slap ya maama

Heartbroken. Drove 2.5 hours to get some delicious BBQ that I remembered, but instead got BBQ that tasted like it was from a can, hot slaw that was all juice and spoiled cabbage and BBQ sauce that was simply tomato sauce with vinegar.

I enjoyed their food but every time I go no matter what time of day or if people are in the drive thru or not it will take a minimum of 15 minutes to get your food once you have ordered. Just be prepared to wait if you go through the drive thru. There is some changes logistically inside, that could really speed up drive thru times. I will go back again but only if I have nothing scheduled or before work if I have plenty of time so that I am not late. Now I did see people calling in ahead with their orders and going through faster.

Use to love this place. It has gone down hill. Came in on a Saturday morning. Yes they were busy but getting ignored by every waitress that passed by is unacceptable. Not even “we will be with you in a moment “. We just wanted to place a to go order. Witnessed an employee or someone that works there vaping in the back. Blowing it out while walking behind the guy that just laid the bacon down. Witnessed the cook shoveling food in his mouth while cooking food. Nope. I mean I get they have to eat too but not while touching others food.

Usually eat here every Sat morning

A local favorite with a down home feel … the jumbo bbq plate was hot and delicious! I love the sliced pork bbq, and the tots were hot and crunchy. The slaw is fine and also a favorite. If you haven’t tried the hot slaw, ask for it and give it a try.

I've visited Big John's Treat Shoppe several times and each visit has been consistently enjoyable. The staff are always friendly, even during busy times when there's never been a long wait. I've also used the drive-thru to order a cheeseburger, and the service was quick.

Their prices are fair, portions generous, and the food consistently tastes great. Located in a small shopping center not far from Interstate 75, there's plenty of parking available. It offers a comfortable setting suitable for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
