Not going to lie — I’m not a seafood person. At all. But I was hungry, tired of the usual fast-food options, and figured why not try something different?

Best. Decision. Ever.

I ended up loving the chicken tenders (so crispy and seasoned perfectly), the big golden pieces of fried fish, and shockingly… even the lobster rolls. Everything was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor.

I actually wanted to order more, but you know… the diet said “no,” even though my heart said “yes, absolutely.”

If someone like me — who doesn’t even like seafood — walks out smiling, full, and planning to come back, you KNOW the food is legit. Highly recommend!

The fried okra was cooked perfectly. The fish is always cooked to perfection. I had someone from overseas visiting and had never heard of captain D's. He loved everything I ordered for him.

Not that anything will be done because I have left reviews regarding not coming on time. This time went to order and clerk said oh we didn't realize it was 1030. There was a car in drive thru and 2 customers out in lobby. We waited 35 minutes for food. Clerk stated they cleaned oil and couldn't figure out how to get the oil to heat. It was hot extremely hot in lobby. I am certain this is a state issue for it to be that hot in a public restaurant. The guy behind us waited 45 minutes and good thing he checked his bag because they left out 2 of his items. Manager was parked in the front door, went right by all of us with an unlit cigarette in her mouth, too worried about going out to smoke, than to tell customers, they were sorry for the inconvenience. Absolutely no acknowledgement from her that there were issues at her store. I know this is fast food, but there should be at least some basic common courtesy and standards of at least acting like you care.

We sat in the drive-through on Wednesday evening at 4:40 and it took us 30 minutes to get our food. We’ll choose something else next time. The lady inside was more interested in talking to the man standing with her than she was waiting on us.

The services was great and I usually don’t complain on the internet. But they really should do something about the ac in the building not for me but the people that work their you could tell they were all struggling to breath. It was really hot in the seating so I know the people behind the wall were hot. Very unsafe

These folks need more staff. It took 25 minutes to order and get out of the drive-thru.
However, the food was good, the order was correct and the cashier was very up beat considering she was doing front and drive thru. I felt bad for her.
