My daughter and I went to this El Pueblito Mexican Grill while in Calhoun. We had heard great things. Sadly, that was not case for us. Many locals do go to this restaurant and we figured “it must be pretty good.”First the guacamole looked as if it had come from a grocery store…you know, the one that comes in a plastic bag.Second, I had a taste for a Chile Relleno. Imagine my surprise when there was no poblano pepper-no chile pepper or even green pepper! Simply ground beef (and not particularly well seasoned) with nothing more than a HUGE glob of melted cheese on top!When we asked the …manager/ owner(?) about the lack of any “pepper” I. The Chili Relleno, he said it does NOT come with any kind of pepper!! WOW! He offered to bring me a poblano pepper. We were at the end of our meal and I kindly declined. No consideration given that I didn't eat my meal except for the offer of a poblano pepper. Very disappointing.

We went there for dinner with our friends Steve and Angie on Saturday. We all got panchita. Steve and Angie's first time trying. it was delicious they really enjoyed it. If you haven't tried it you need to!
