HOW HAVE A MISSES THIS PLACE?!?

Some of the best fajita chicken I have ever eaten in my life. Seriously amazing food, excellent service. On the outside this place looks terrible but it is some of the best Mexican food I've ever had, and that includes in Mexico.

Ordered take out last night. The molcajete has polish sausage instead of chorizo, and no nopal cactus. Food was very bland with no flavor or seasonings. Paid 4.25 for a cheese dip that came in a fifty cents side dip container. Very disappointed since they claimed to be authentic. Won't be back

I finally got a chance to try this place out with my mom last week. I do not understand why I have waited so long. I had the Cancun special which includes sliced ribeye, California veggies all covered in cheese and rice and beans. My mom had the sampler platter which included chicken tacos, beef tacos and shrimp tacos. I will definitely be back again

Had a Long black string from a hair net in my refried beans. When I showed the waitress she just shrugged & walked away. She never offered to bring me something else & just totally ignored me. My family & I will not be back.

Love this place that why im coming again and again for lunch ....

This place is the epitome of a small town restaurant. It is in an old, rock building. Supposedly the place is haunted, although I was there years ago the night our local Catholic priest blessed the place and cast out the ghosts.....(who ya gonna call?)

Definitely my go to restaurant in Calhoun. Great service, great food. Get the green sauce.

First time visiting El Rayos for lunch. Service was excellent. Some of the best chips, salsa and queso that I’ve had in Calhoun. Servers smiled each time we spoke, after ordering the food came out within 3mins very, very quick. Good little atmosphere: wood floors, stone and tin walls( kind of a cabin feel.) Three different seating areas: front, back and outside, very clean environment as well. Music played in the background not too loudly. Over all a great spot and definitely recommend.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly! Along with great food, they have gumball machines and several small toy dispenser.

We found this place by accident and it was a great mistake! The margaritas are amazing, the guacamole was delicious, and the sample platter great. We also had nachos supreme and tacos al carbon. Everything was super and the service was quick and friendly. Check them out!

Authentic. Beans very tasty, chili poblano just right, Pollo Rancheros tender chicken with homemade sauce. Will become a meal stop on our way to Atlanta!

By far the best Mexican in town. The owners and wait staff are wonderful, and the food is by far the best in town
