Well this restaurant has been a staple here in Calhoun for over 30 years. It is always great to support a local owned place.
The staff was very friendly and service wa great,
I had a chicken over rice lunch , I did ask for no celery but was informed the vegetables are pre mixed . I also asked about if they did there own potsticker or egg rolls but no they buy SYSCO. Probably the veg mix is from there too.
BUT the lunch was very goo and the Hot and Sour soup was fantastic !!!! I will be back this was my first visit.

First off Great service by all wait staff and Amazing sweet tea but that’s about it , I ordered sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and the Mrs had almond chicken. Hers was like eating a DoD MRE IYKYK and very watery, think Marie calendar. The sweet and sour chicken was only okay id really only value it at maybe $7 . The portions are small and the prices are way too high for the lacking quality and quantity with an out the door price of $40 excluding gratuity. Maybe we both got the wrong thing and struck out idk. I’ll give it another shot down the road maybe….if they’re still around.
Great, flavorful Chinese food with good sized portions. You're not leaving unfulfilled. Could use an update and a more bright atmosphere
Also the egg drop soup is hot and fantastic. Very clean broth

Terrible. Would not recommend.
We arrived at 11:00 AM today. We ordered Mongolian Beef, General Chicken and Sweet and Sour Pork to go. The pork was so tough you couldn’t chew it. The chicken tasted burnt and flavorless. No spice. The Mongolian Beef was ok but not like it used to be.

They do what they do, and do it well. Fancy? No. Expensive? No. Great food? Yup.

Since when does Kung Pao chicken have breading? It doesn't. Instead of stir fry, I got a soggy mess. Used likely what chicken they had cooked already but breaded. Also, I don't know what they used for the sauce but it was NOT traditional Kung Pao. I do not recommend this Chinese restaurant.
I ordered carry out but did not call in advance, very short wait. Large portions. And the food was what I expected and was a good value for what I spent. My only complaint is the sauce leaked out of the cantainer and made a mess.
Fantastic Chinese food. The best I've ever had!!
We love Pengs
My first time here & definitely won’t be my last.
The food was cooked fresh & tasted delicious!
Their staff is so friendly. U have to try it
Haven’t ate there in years, was looking forward to it. Got the sweet and sour chicken w rice… very disappointed. The sauce had no taste at all., the rice had been peppers which is usually ok but these tasted more like celery., the entire bed of rice had this strong just terrible taste. Only had a couple bites of chicken ., wish I had ate some where else. Highly unsatisfied. Egg roll was decent tho

The sesame chicken and beef with broccoli was subpar at best. The soups were better but only a 3/5. The overall quality of the food was poor. Panda Express is far better and less expensive. I will never order food from Peng’s Pavilion again. There are too many other places that serve higher quality food.
