I thought it couldn’t be any better …. Until I had brunch there today

We sat outside perfect weather near their closing time. We had the beef brisket,5 cheese macaroni, coleslaw, cornbread, garlic bread, coke, iced tea and jambalaya. Our server was Sylvana and she was great. We will come back and try some other items on the menu as they ran out of pork. Good food.

I was hoping that the food was good especially after paying almost a $100, driving 30 minute to pick it up and then 30 minutes to drive home! Ribs (DRY) chicken wings, (DRY) and grits, gritty undercooked, pulled pork dry...the fried alligator moist but salty and the jalapeno hushpuppies were pretty good. So basically, gas and $100 for hush puppies. So disappointing.

The food was hot for our liking. The service tried to accommodate. We didn’t know the business changed.

One of my favorite places to eat. Worth the drive from anywhere in the North Atlanta Metro Area. Everything is amazing and unique. Haven't tried a bad dish yet.

We have eaten here often. Food is very very good. Service is good as well. Restaurant itemp is usually on the cool side. Came for Sunday brunch today, FREEZING cold inside waitress wearing sweat shirts. We left and went somewhere else. We will try again another time.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent! Definitely worth trying, you won't be disappointed.

The manager Ryan made it right been there 2 times the first was good but the 2nd time my order was incorrect but Ryan made it right !!

As a descendant of some of Louisiana's oldest families, trust me when I say I love the food here.

It was a pleasant first experience. The food had great flavor and the staff was friendly. We will have to stop by and try out some more items over time, but we ended up getting pulled pork, the Cajun poutine, wings and brisket.

Incredibly good food! Reasonable Prices too

Boy is it hard to find a good BBQ place. Most companies will charge you an arm and a leg for their food. At the end you walk out thinking that was just OK. Definitely not coming here again, but next time you have the BBQ crave you end up going again only to be disappointed. I SAY ALL THIS BECAUSE I FINALLY FOUND A PLACE THAT IS GOOD BBQ. I'm hesitant in sharing this place becouse I feel like I found a gem. Kinda just want to keep it hush hush so that I will always have availability when I come. But, that would be selfish. This place has really good BBQ. The meat is smoked for 16 hours. You really taste the rich smokey flavors. Even hours after you eat, the amazing taste lingers in your mouth. I really like the atmosphere. The restrooms are really clean. The staff is friendly. Good portion sizes for what they are charging. Fair price for a premium product.

We were up in Canton last weekend house hunting with not much luck when my husband was like, “why don’t we find something to eat while we’re up here”? To which I was like, “coooool! That means I won’t have to cook when we get back”! Big Easy BBQ was in the right direction on the way out, so we stopped.

When we arrived there were only a couple of people in the restaurant (but that all changed in a matter of several minutes)!
The staff was really friendly & in my book; that goes a long way. I ordered the fried alligator ($13)
(As you can imagine, you can’t just run out to the corner cafe and pick up some fried alligator) so I was super stoked to find it on the menu here)!!
For my taste, the breading was wayyyyy too thick.
I couldn’t taste any of the meat, and you know how sometimes you bite into something breaded and fried and you get stabbed in the gums??😩🤯 the gator lacked any flavor at all, so after I sewed up my gums, I took a pass on the rest.

Both my husband and I ordered the Brisket Sammy. It did have a nice smoked flavor and it was tender to boot. It’s a massive sandwich and fo’ sho’ I didn’t have ANY illusions of eating the whole thing in one sitting..y’all…I ate the whole thing in one sitting.. this Sammy is really good! And I’m not even gonna lie, if we are ever up that way again.. we are gonna stop! I told the server that I was gonna put a pox on her whole family for serving me that big meal😂😂😂😂😂😂 she laughed and said she gets that kind of thing all the time!!😂😂😂
