We were seated quickly after we did the online check in. Very convenient. Service was fast and friendly. Food was great. Fireplace was a plus.

Our beans were hot as good as usual. No ham at all and not much flavor. Everything else was good.

We had a horrible experience with an employee named Lyla. We were getting my son from the nursing home to get together with 15 family members. We all came from two hours away. I called at 12:22 pm to see how long the wait was and was told it was 45 minutes to an hour. I said that was perfect for us as we planned to arrive at 1pm. We got there at 12:45 and I inquired with Lyla where we were on the list. She was very hateful and said I called you six times. I told her that I was told it would be at least 45 minutes and it had been 23 minutes since I called. She was not helpful at all even though I explained my son could not sit up long. She showed no concern or help. We were finally seated at 1:45pm and she called many people ahead of us. We did this last year without a hitch. I bought numerous Cracker Barrel Gift cards this year. I am extremely upset and disappointed.

Love the old time atmosphere here with all the antiques and the country store. Like to come here for breakfast and dinner. The Home style chicken is one of my favorites for dinner or lunch. The hash brown casserole is another favorite side as is the sweet potato soufflé, when it’s available.

I hate to say it but I think we have had our last meal at Cracker Barrel. While the food is always wonderful, and the staff is amazing, we found out that they do not give military, or first responders discount. This is very disappointing. The discount that is usually given is so small that I really don't see it affecting the bottom line, but everyone is trying to get everything they can out of us consumers.
As a military family, and who also has had first responders in the family, it makes a difference when they are not appreciated. They deserve so much more from us as a community. They are willing do the jobs that others won't, all so we can have the life we enjoy everyday. Military and first responders are the ones in our community who are willing to put thier life on the line for complete strangers. The least we could do is give them a discount on a meal.

Enjoyed the Campfire options with the three of us each getting a different one (beef, chicken, shrimp) and all were piping hot and tasty. The biscuits and cornbread were also good.
