I hate to say it but I think we have had our last meal at Cracker Barrel. While the food is always wonderful, and the staff is amazing, we found out that they do not give military, or first responders discount. This is very disappointing. The discount that is usually given is so small that I really don't see it affecting the bottom line, but everyone is trying to get everything they can out of us consumers.
As a military family, and who also has had first responders in the family, it makes a difference when they are not appreciated. They deserve so much more from us as a community. They are willing do the jobs that others won't, all so we can have the life we enjoy everyday. Military and first responders are the ones in our community who are willing to put thier life on the line for complete strangers. The least we could do is give them a discount on a meal.

Enjoyed the Campfire options with the three of us each getting a different one (beef, chicken, shrimp) and all were piping hot and tasty. The biscuits and cornbread were also good.

The food was absolutely delicious, and it came so fast. The server wasn't very personable.

We arrived at about 3:15 and were seated promptly. However at that point no server appeared. We waited about 20 minutes then went toward the front and told an employee that we still had not seen a server. About 4 or 5 minutes a supervisor appeared, apologized profusely and then took our drink orders. Some time later a young man appeared and took our order. The only thing I can think to excuse his lackluster service was that he was either very new, or lazy. This is the first time we have ever had such terrible service at a Cracker Barrel. It won't prevent us from returning. Hopefully this kid learned his lesson. This happened at the Canton Cracker Barrel.

We went to this Cracker Barrel this morning and had an awful experience. The portions of the food were ridiculously small, the biscuits were stale, the pancakes under cooked, and the order was incorrect. The server giving us our food almost dropped all of the plates on us, which after seeing the quality and size of the food, I now wished he did drop it so we could have gotten new food. This all would have been acceptable when their breakfast was about $25 but now that it is about $40, this type of experience is not tolerable. And to add the cherry on top of the crap sundae that was our breakfast at this Cracker Barrel today, the cashier didn't even ask me how my breakfast was today like they usually do and didn't even say more than two words to me because she was too busy talking to the cashier next to her about what they were going to do after their shift ended. This was just a miserable experience from the beginning to the end. I will give this Cracker Barrel one more chance, but if I have the same experience again, I will never ever go back to this Cracker Barrel.

The grilled catfish tasted & smelled horrible, even after the second time. I have gotten grilled catfish for a long time and never had catfish taste like that. The manager was very polite and didn’t charge me for my meal, but there was something different about the catfish. Think I’m done with CB.

I was disappointed in the food, the beans I ordered were barely warm, butter wouldn’t even melt. The biscuits were also near cold. My sisters food was the same. I could think of other places I would have enjoyed more. I’ve always liked Cracker Barrel, but the quality has gone down.

Well last night was just awful. Sat at the table for over 10 mins. asked a server to please wait on us and she did. She was new so she was trying. (It was not her table) I got the Southern fried chicken, green beans and pinto beans. The chicken tasted like it had been cooked earlier and re-dipped in the fryer to heat it up.🤮 the green beans or cold. I went in to Cracker Barrel just for the fried chicken and was very disappointed. No manager insight I did have it taken off my bill.
