We read reviews while looking for a new place to try for dinner. The positive comments about Paula were on point. That lady works hard to ensure everyone has a pleasant dining experience from the moment you walk in the door until you leave. She provided service far above expectations.Our appetizer was excellent. I had shrimp which was very good. My wife had fish and chips.

Greatest greeting from Paula our hostess waitress. Only two tables here at 12:30 on a stormy Tuesday. Our first visit. Hot fresh food. Boiled Cajun style boiled peanuts with a little kick to begin. Both had blackened grouper. Good experience. Owner came by to ask how we liked everything. Very attentive friendly

The food was tasty and service good! We couldn't give it 5 stars though. As they say it's in the details. My low country boil size and flavor were excellent. But I wish they had sliced the delicious sausage into smaller pieces they were in chunks. The potatoes were also tasty but cut into halves, quarters would of been better. I felt the quality and taste were good. We also got the seafood dip also excellent in flavor but they give you a limited amount of bread for dipping chips would of been a nice addition and or offered more bread for further dipping. Lastly although our server was good and attentive he was a bit hyper maybe too many energy drinks?! Also wet naps and bibs when you have a boil are worthy additions to a meal. None were offered. Also ibwas disappointed the beer was served in a can not draft. Surprising to me in this age of restaurants.Overall we can't give it 5 stars but 4 and worthy of a 2nd try for us.

We always love the food and the service at Dive Southern Coastal Kitchen. Last night my husband had the fish and chips and I had the combo of Southern Fried Chicken and the Pork Chop. Delicious!! The bartender / server is also a very personable person and always takes great care of us. We'll be back soon!!!

Once again we had a great dinner. The food is always fabulous-hot, huge portions, cooked exactly as expected.The atmosphere is always great and that is due to the wonderful staff. Extremely pleasant but never intrusive. Water glasses always full and that next crab legs platter out at just the right time and steaming hot. Such great people.Many times, if you come with a baby, there is a push to get you in and out. We have been many times with an under 4 month old and we could not ask for them to be any more accommodating. As always, we will be back soon. Paula, as always, thank you so much. Thanks so much.
Service was awesome. The atmosphere was pretty nice. The food looks great! HOWEVER, the taste was fairly bland for me. I had the blackened chicken pasta (added grilled shrimp). The chicken and shrimp had a bit (not much) of seasoning. The cheese sauce and noodles were very bland and took over the taste entire plate. It's not horrible but not seasoned enough for my taste. My daughter had the Crab platter. The daddy tax enabled me to sample the Crab. It was pretty good.Parking: There is more parking in the rear.

PAULA IS AN AMAZING BARTENDER! Her custom drink menu is one of a kind. The FOOD: wife had the blackened grouper sandwich with the roasted butter corn on cob. She loved it and so did I cause I had the extra. I had the sautéed citrus shirmp, cheese grits and fried brussel sprouts with pecan. Those sprouts were next level. Give this place a try and you won’t be disappointed.

My wife and I ate at this restaurant for lunch today. She had Cliffs catfish sandwich and I had the blackened chicken with seashell pasta. Both our meals were cooked fresh and were hot and delicious.The restaurant was clean as were the restrooms.Our staff person was very friendly and checked on our table several times to make sure we were happy with the food and to see if we needed refills.We highly recommend this restaurant and will be back again !

Our server, Paula was fantastic! The decor is fun and well thought out and definitely has a beachy feel.The fried grouper sandwich and side costal salad were both good, however the cheese grits needed more salt and possibly seasoning.The presentation was nice. The service was excellent and the manager or owner personally came to our table to check on us.
