Our food was excellent, as was our server Angel. He was attentive without being obtrusive, keeping our drinks filled and always ready to get anything we needed. A bonus was the live entertainment provided by Atlanta Soul Band. Their singer was phenomenal, covering songs by Roberta Flack and Whitney Houston with a vocal range matching theirs. It was indeed a special evening.

Overall, I was disappointed. As someone that has been eating here for years, not sure I'll go back. The food came out luke-warm (french fries and hollandaise sauce - so it was broken). I had the special omelette with spinach, cheddar and bacon. There was way too much cheese, maybe 10 pieces of raw spinach and one piece of bacon which was really a 'crumble.' The staff was fine but definitely going through the motions. The kids in the restaurant were loud and unruly. Families should be sat together so other patrons can hear each other and enjoy their meals. The bathrooms with filthy and I saw a bus boy go out for a smoke in the back and then come back in. I have no idea if he washed his hands but he smelled like an ashtray walking by me. Overall, super sad that this is what one of my favorites has become.

Our waitress provides suggestions and answers to the menu. Dinner was served hot and tasty. Seasoning and sauces were great additions to the food. Great experience and reasonably priced. The combo for music and singing was great, too! Thank you for another delicious dining event at Local on North.

Wonderful dinner and great live music. The service was very nice and even though they were out of a couple of menu items their selection was still varied enough that my wife and I each found something we liked. We will be back!

It was New Year's Day 2026, our server informed us 15 minutes after placing our order that the restaurant would be closing early. As in 15 minutes. While a bit shocked, we were pleasantly surprised that they had accepted our reservation the day before and that we managed to make it just in time. As the only customers dining at that time, our dinner was unexpectedly intimate, which was fitting for our anniversary. As the food arrived, the kitchen went dark, and the closing crew began cleaning up around us. It was difficult not to feel rushed, yet at the same time, we felt like we were on a movie set with a spotlight on us, as the stage around us changed. Our complimentary anniversary dessert, featuring a lit candle, added to the surreal atmosphere, as it burned down at the exact moment we finished our meal. We have enjoyed North on Main on several occasions in the past, and both the service and food have always been good. We will definitely be returning, but most likely not on New Year's Day!

We went here for NYE dinner. Party of 6. We were sat downstairs but only after 2/3 of our party arrived (we had a reservation). The bartender/server took our order for drinks and an appetizer but failed to put the order in. We sat for an hour with NOTHING. No water. NOTHING. I had to go to the bar to see where our drinks were. Still took another 15 minutes. They were not that busy by any means and the bartender/server who originally took our order never came back to our table. The food is usually amazing. Last night it was average at best. Like it was rushed. The charcuterie board was slapped together and our meals were just OK. Seared tuna was wet (dripping wet) from salad placement. We’ve been here before and I fell in love with the place. NYE changed all of that. We weren’t in a rush but at least bring us water and our drinks. The drinks were awful by the way. French Martini tasted like grape jolly rancher, super sweet and syrupy. Strawberry Basil mule tasted like a strawberry jolly rancher. No fresh strawberry or basil to be seen or tasted like the menu suggests. Overall our group was extremely disappointed with the food and service (or lack thereof) yet we still were charged 20% gratuity because of being a party of 6. It was NYE so we didn’t argue (we were all servers and bartenders when we were younger so we understand taking care of our waitstaff) but at least allow US to determine how much gratuity we give. Way overpriced for the horrible service and food we had.

It was NY Eve. We were downstairs. We arrived at 7, when we had a reservation. We sat at 7:15. We ordered drinks at 7:18. They arrived at 2 of us asked the bartender when we would receive our drinks... which was around 7:53. Not a good start. The service after that improved. Sadly, the food did not. In the past, this location was quite good all around. Perhaps we chalk this up to NY Eve, however it was not THAT busy honestly. Not one manager stopped by to see how things were going.

Wife and I went on a crowded new years eve. Everything was great with the exception of our table. Having eaten here many times, we were seated in what I would say was temporary seating next to the kitchen. Traffic going past our table was constant since it was the only path to the restroom. The manager did offer us another table, but our appetizers had arrived and we decided to stay at our table. Again, all was great except our table location.

Alex was exceptional serving our group of 4. Appetizers were beyond expectations and everyone enjoyed their entrees. We will be back soon. Thank you, Local on North!

I got the only burger on the menu. I don’t know how the meat tasted because the patties and bun were drenched with a red sauce that I personally did not like, and it overpowered the whole thing.

The potato rosemary soup was fair.

Salem and Gigi do such a great job, at one of our favorite local restaurants! Our Cooking Club had our Holiday Party there last night, and the service, food, and atmosphere were all wonderful. Generous drinks, unique appetizers, and memorable salmon! Great place for an intimate dinner or a grand party!

Outstanding! Had the Greek chicken brochettes. Chicken was well seasoned and tender, creamy feta was well balanced with the cucumber salad, added bonus flavor with balsamic!
Grouper Tacos.... What 😋?? Delicious!! They were lightly fried with a nice remoulade and pico de gallo! We had fries with it and they were hot and obviously hand cut!

Definitely will be spot for us!
Thank you

**THE BEST** Local family owned restaurant and the food & service is excellent. Make plans to visit soon and experience the best food & hospitality in downtown Canton! So Thanksgiving Day with family in the hospital and emotions running high it was not a normal holiday for us. Not knowing what to do about dinner we ordered online with Local On North. They were not doing online orders on Thanksgiving Day and called to apologize. They were opening at 5pm with a special holiday menu for dine in only! The owner (Salem) actually got on the phone without even knowing our circumstances and told me that he would still take care of us. When I arrived at the restaurant Salem greeted me at the hostess stand. He provided us with a very fair priced “tasty” holiday meal. Soup & Salad, Turkey & Dressing, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Green Beans, Rolls and Cranberry Sauce. What more could you ask for? Customer service these days is so rare. It starts at the top and Salem is leading his staff with excellence. We can’t wait to go back! **THE BEST**
