NOT VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY
When I looked at the menu there were only two vegetarian options: the veggie fajitas (for $18 I might add) and the cheese quesadillas on the kids menu. I ordered the fajitas and asked specifically to make sure they were vegetarian. As I was eating them I found a piece of chicken and a piece of steak mixed in! Not only that but the quality of ye fajitas was nothing special. I do not recommend for vegetarians!!

Honestly the only reason it gets two stars is because of the live music, which was great. Everything else was HORRIBLE. We had a larger party which I understand can be difficult to accommodate I understand. The problem is, it took 45 mins to get drinks, everybody’s order was wrong, tasted horrible, or it wasn’t even warm. We never got silverware until after we got our food and asked for it. When it was brought out, it was all together on one plate.
You’d be better off just listening to the live music from the green and getting food from somewhere else. This place sucks

The food was fine, nothing to write home about. However the service and everything else was horrendous. Ordered cheese dip, they brought it out but with no chips. Had to wait like 8 more minutes for chips while the cheese dip sat there getting cold. Didn't bring any drinks until after they brought said chips. All of the drinks barely had any ice, and were almost roll temperature. Ordered fajita trio, and they charged $1.50 for tortillas. Not extra tortillas, just to have tortillas. What kind of Mexican restaurant charges for tortillas with fajitas?

We visited on a very slow evening and unfortunately the experience didn’t meet expectations. Despite the light crowd, several menu items were unavailable, which immediately limited options.
Service was exceptionally slow. Appetizers — queso, guacamole, and salsa verde — took approximately 45 minutes to arrive and were delivered at the same time as the main courses, eliminating any sense of pacing. The dips themselves were underwhelming: the queso tasted generic, the salsa lacked depth and flavor, and portions were quite small for the price.
The main dishes were acceptable, but not strong enough to compensate for the delays and overall execution issues. Attention to timing, freshness, and basic hospitality seemed inconsistent throughout the visit.
With better management and kitchen coordination, this restaurant could improve significantly. As it stands, there are stronger options in the area that provide a more reliable dining experience
Amazing food! We will be back!

Maybe they were just short staffed but the service and food were terrible. Got our food and it was cold. Not warm, but cold.

We have visited Luna del Rio several times and always a pleasant experience. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the tropical mojitos are a hit!

We ate here yesterday during the plant festival. The restaurant was empty. That should have been our sign to pick something else. The server was nice amd she kept our tea glasses filled. The salsa looked and tasted like picante sauce or enchilada sauce from a can. The chips were stale. I had the lunch enchiladas. They were so tiny, and part of the tortilla on one of them was too hard to eat. The enchiladas were bland and had no flavor. I've had better frozen meals. I took one bite of the rice. It was dry and crunchy. I also took one bite of the beans. They tasted like they came from a can. My husband had combo #1. His enchiladas were also tiny and bland. He said the same for the taco. How do you serve a taco with no seasoning in the ground beef? We both decided this would not be a place we'd return to.

High price point for the [lack of] quality of food and drinks. The service was okay, but nothing to note. Honestly, better off eating at La Parilla at Canton Marketplace.

I had such a great experience at Luna! The food was amazing, especially the carne asada fries and the Philly steak burrito, both full of flavor and super satisfying. Everything tasted really authentic. The atmosphere was welcoming, and Jonathan, the bartender, was outstanding, friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!
