Menchie's Frozen Yogurt

We were finishing dinner at a local restaurant when my grandson said he wanted ice cream. We talked about a couple of options around town we think are good. My grandson wanted to go to Menchies, on the other side of town. Traffic was bad, and it was getting late. We made our way over, and made our selection. As we were finishing, I asked him why he wanted Menchies. He said it was "nostalgic" for him. We've taken him here since he was old enough to sit in a high chair. He's 12 now! Nostalgia! That was good enough for me.

Fernando did a great job of serving the two of us today. He was kind, helpful and concise in assisting us with what was for my dining partner his first time ever eating frozen yoghurt. As for myself I have eaten it many times in my youth in California, but before today I had not had it for at least ten years if not more, I estimate. I used to eat it regularly at a joint near a health club that I would frequent back in my early twenties but for the life of me I cannot remember the name of that chain. Given my past experience indulging in this type of cuisine it is understandable if upon entering Menchie's Frozen Yogurt in Canton GA today at around five or six pm (Wednesday, November thirteenth of the year two thousand and twenty four), I had a high pedigree against which to judge my experience. Thankfully this "yogurt parlor" provided me with the same caliber of delicious frozen yogurt that i remembered having all those years ago. The cake batter was my favorite and my dining companion enjoyed his mix of the caramel and chocolate flavors. Our dining experience was unique, clean and comfortable. As I previously stated our young host Fernando answered all of the questions that we had for him with knowledge, respect, and friendliness. He was informative whilst remaining non intrusive and we both enjoyed his energy. He gave off a positive aura, which for us at least is the key ingredient in a top tier customer service experience. The toppings were abundant, fresh and delicious. Sanitation looked great. The place was tidy and clean. The bathroom was clean and there was even a chalk board for us to do some art on!

Vegetarian options: Frozen yoghurt is always suitable for a lacto ovo vegetarian diet and if I remember correctly there were even a few vegan options on the menu.

My family is here pretty often and it's usually pretty clean and well stocked. There generally are a few dairy free options which I really appreciate as that is not usually something that people have available especially in Canton

We have been in before and had no sugar added yogurt. But today there was none, so my wife couldn't have any. Several of the machines were broken, and there were limited flavors. The service was friendly and it was clean.

First of all, this place is filthy. This is my second time coming here in 6 months. I gave it another try because I loved Menchies where I used to live. As you walk in, you'll notice that the windows on the outside and insideare filthy dirty. It looks like they took baby oil to clean the windows.
Second, the floors and tables look like they haven't been cleaned in months. Sticky... I went to wash my hands, and the bathroom was just as gross.

I thought, well I might as well sample some flavors, to only see a ton of fruit flies swarming the machines. My husband decided on vanilla and I chose to pass. I looked at the dismal selection of toppings and it looked like they had been sitting there for weeks.

This is all things I noticed when I first came here. I thought maybe they cleaned up, but nope. It's unfortunate.

The girl at the register didn't even say a word to us the entire time.

This place is gross. We went there on a Friday evening. Only teenage employees sitting around doing nothing. Didn’t speak to us . We tried some samples and none were appealing to us . I noticed that the whole store looked dirty. I used the restroom and it was horribly dirty. The door to the back are where the machine are filled was also horribly dirty. I immediately left and next door to Longhorns for dessert. When I came out Menchie’s was closed. There is no possible way that they got the store clean before leaving. I didn’t think to look for a health score until we left. I didn’t notice one posted. BEWARE!

They were out of a lot of flavors. The staff was nice. Pretty good stuff.

I love the original Tart Froyo and the fresh fruit. So good!! The staff was helpful, and the fruit was delicious.

First time ever coming in with my daughter. The ice cream was good, and the toppings were all there. I would give 5 stars, but when I walked in, I had no idea what to do. Both girls were playing on their phones, so I had to get their attention. They still didn't help me so I asked if I was supposed to just fill up a cup and all they said was "yeah" so I didn't fully get it but I just filled up her cup and then brought it to the counter. Once again, having to get the girls attention. One of them was happy to help me and even got me to sign up with my phone number. Idk if I will be back since it is a child friendly place and both myself and my child were ignored when walking in.

So my rating is for my sobret because today was meant to be half the price off for the first 50 people, How come I was charged full price for sobret. I called the lady Katie's attention and she insists I got the discount. My order # 2007 . By the way, she did gave the couple ahead of me the discount. Is it because I'm not the same skin color as she is??Too bad. I really love the place for my Mango and Pineapple sobret

Been here a few times, it’s usually not the cleanest place and all visits they have had multiple flavors out but the worst is the toppings, , they have been out for a long long time and several of them are very stale
