Showed up here last Saturday afternoon for my daughter’s Birthday. The dessert case was almost completely empty. 3 desserts to pick from and only 1 of each left. Unless you special order something expect to be disappointed. They don’t actually keep much of anything on hand for you to walk in and purchase.

Love this place. We live far away but it's worth the drive. I particularly love the pistachio and the lavender cakes. They also make the cutest little smash cakes that are the perfect size and very affordable. Don't sleep on the free cookie club for kids! And the pork tacos are delicious!

They had a murder mystery dinner party on a Friday night. It was so much fun and the food was amazing. They had a pirate theme and everyone dressed up. Spinach & Artichoke dip and Caribbean meatballs for appetizers. Dinner was salad, rice and beans, rolls, plantains, glazed carrots, pulled mojo pork, and j*** chicken. Desserts were rum cake and pineapple Upside down cake.

With the price of gas and groceries being so high , this place is dreaming to charge 10$ for a slice of cake. I wish I could support small businesses, but I walked out at those prices. It wasn’t much of a bakery, seemed more focused on the taco restaurant with desserts in a small display case.

Website says $30 for a dozen muffins but was charged $50. Watch the prices they charge you. I didn't realize it until it was too late. I would give 0 stars if I could. And they refused to honor the website pricing.

I visited Paula's Zzerts after reading about it in the local Cherokee paper. I went there on a whim and tried the street tacos and had a pastry from the Zzerts section. Generally speaking, it was not too bad. I was not crazy about the street tacos but the food was prepared well and it was plentiful. The dessert was out standing and that will be the reason I will go back . .to pick up some take out pastry. If this were a thumbs up kinda review I'd give it 4 Thumbs up for the Zzerts and 2-1/5 thumbs up for the street tacos. Give it a try.
