So I see there is more than one child that has had to deal with bounced checks from this store. This is a shame. Shame on you all the other child is a Jeff.

My name is Aaron Eison and I am a former Employee of this store. Every check that I have received from Smoothie King has bounced. They now owe me over 500$ and refuse to answer any of my emails or text messages. I don’t want that same bs “sorry about you experience” Just fix my check before I go to the police and news.

This location needs to have a serious overhaul from Corporate. I went in to grab a smoothie, I have been to many different locations and never had an experience so bad.
The one person who was there explained that they are about to quit because the owner was so bad. I was surprised he still tried to make the drink and be helpful but in the end I left him a tip listened to them and left the store.
It appears the owner is mismanaging this location and really needs to just shut down rather than provide such poor service and poor quality. That is a recipe for failure.

Consistently the worst experience I have had at any place of business. Every time there’s some excuse. Out of ingredients, answers the intercom and says they’re closed at 2pm, or just no one at the store at all during open hours. When they actually are accepting orders, it’s always egregiously long waits. I used to order online to beat the wait times, until one time they were out of the ingredients and said they would refund my purchase. The refund never happened, and was never made right even after multiple attempts.

This location has been bouncing checks to their employees !!! My daughter was so excited that she landed her first job ..only to have her first check bounce and it was only $100 !! We made her quit immediately …her second check was $400 and that also bounced and now management/owner is nowhere to be found … they just hire teens with no training …never have any ingredients and manager is never there … they would leave a couple of teen girls (15-16) to close the store at 9pm by themselves … this location will probably never open again cus I’m going to park my car at the drive through window till my daughter gets paid …nobody is getting smoothies till that happens I promise you !!!

I’ve reported the Smoothie King Hickory Flat location several times to corporate and they have done nothing. The response I get is the manager of the Hickory Flat location will reach out to you directly to solve your issues, and nothing happens.
First off, the mobile app allows you to place a mobile order when the location isn’t even open (on a random Wednesday at 11am). The last time I went there they were out of bananas, and blueberries?? When I asked for a 32oz strawberry smoothie, the employee told me we don’t have 32oz cups, so it’ll have to be in 2 small cups.
The employees always have an attitude, and I honestly don’t blame them after recently finding out their checks are bouncing and some are waiting on over $400.

Every time I go there either no strawberry or banana & today no protein but charge same price crazy

i’m all for giving chances, but this location has to be the worst location every time I pull up they’re out of peanut butter. They out of strawberries. You are in the line waiting for awhile before they even speak to you on the intercom. Then when you come inside, it’s very filthy. there’s nothing but young teenagers on their phone sitting on the counter so disrespectful for no customer service whatsoever.

I went to this location about 7:15 pm on the intercom someone said something. Not sure of what I heard I pull forward and on the door it says 8pm! So I decided to go inside. I open the door and 2 teens sitting in lobby with feet up telling me the store is closed! Asked why the door unlocked they said they can only lock from outside! It’s really unprofessional cause they’re sitting there like they have nothing to do and perhaps riding the clock! If you closed I figured you’d be gone and locked up! Or maybe preparing to go! Even though they weren’t rude this is the 2nd time coming to this location and it’s been a really long wait because only one person working or 2 employees doing nothing on their phones! I will not come back and be disappointed for 3rd time!!

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
Firstly, my experience today was disappointing to say the least. Infuriating at most!! I was CRAVING a peanut power chocolate- my go to. So I left my house with the sole purpose of quenching my thirst with a peanut buttery chocolate banana smoothie- unfortunately for me this location was OUT OF BANANAS??? Half of the menu calls for banana as the base ingredient, absolutely unacceptable to just have none. ESPECIALLY with a Publix and Kroger within walking distance to this location. Where is the manager?? Why is the poor CHILD working the drive thru having to be the bearer of bad news? I asked him how they were making any smoothies and he replied that “it’s been a hard morning” wow, just wow. There is absolutely no way he is getting paid enough. I left empty handed and disappointed. I attempted to call the store to ask for the manager or owner’s contact information but lo and behold, no one even answered the phone. Figures.
Then to my NOT surprise when reading the google reviews for this place, I am not the first to have a horrible experience recently at this location. Seriously, the bad reviews go back months and months now.
When I was a teenager I worked at this exact location and if we were out of bananas, the manager or owner would go get some from the grocery store for us, so there is just absolutely no excuse for the poor management of this location. Very very sad since this is the only one in canton anymore since the CMP one closed a few years back. They’ve had the upgrades to the interior of this place but it’s like putting lipstick on a pig at this point. Looks nice on the outside, but ugly as sin on the inside. I just feel bad for the kids working there, the reviews name multiple bad experiences with guest service as well as out of stock products consistently as issues here. There is just no way anyone is getting paid nearly enough to have to deal with the brunt of the bad management choices and attitudes from unsatisfied customers. Further than that, there is no contact information to be found for the manager or owner.
I’ve gone to the corporate website and expressed my dissatisfaction and concerns with them as well.
Very excited to spend my money at Tropic Smoothie next time I’m craving one. I will not be returning to this smoothie king until there is a huge sign out front displaying “under new management”
And this will get the bot reply of “oh we’re very sorry about your experience” blah blah blah- I don’t care. Just fix it.
