We won’t be going back to Union Hill Grill. We’ve been going there for almost 8 years and I’ve always enjoyed the food and the service. They changed the menu and took off several items that were excellent. Bang bang shrimp is no longer there, fried chicken entrée is gone fried shrimp entrée is gone. Also, the hanger steak entrée is gone. They’ve put in several pastas, but it doesn’t really replace the other items. I ended up ordering a fillet, which came with just one side. No more bread either. Or it was not offered to us. For $45 I think I should’ve gotten two sides. I requested it be cooked medium, and it came out rare. I sent it back to be cooked a little more and half of the green beans on my plate disappeared. Nope, not going back there. Very sad.

This was a perfect night. Friendly staff. Excellent food and atmosphere. The salmon and Snapper were cooked to perfection and the bananas foster bread pudding and key lime pie were the best we have had in a long time.

Unfortunately our experience was not the best. We made reservations for our 37th Anniversary. We were looking to have a special dinner with live music We double checked to make sure there would be live music. We received a message from UHG mid-day that there would be. We arrived and waited and waited for our table. We never made it to a table. They then told us the live music had been cancelled. We ended up sitting at the bar. Food was subpar! Atmosphere was fine for casual dining but not what it used to be at UHG. We use to go when we lived closer, and the atmosphere was so nice. Not impressed with it now! Sorry UHG!

My recent visit to Union Hill Grill was a letdown. The waitress was slow to attend to our needs, and we had to ask multiple times for simple requests like clearing our appetizer plates and refilling our drinks. The food was a major disappointment - it was raw and tasteless. To make matters worse, we were forced to pay a gratuity for a table of eight, which added $89 to our already hefty bill of $550. Needless to say, I won't be returning.

We frequent UHG and have recently noticed a decline in the food quality. Brussels bowl and Mediterranean bowl are not what they used to be and we miss the bread! We are sad about the changes and it don’t feel like it’s worth the money now. We used to come a few times per month and now we will be looking for a new regular place 😢
