I visited Viva Mexico in Canton, GA, and was disappointed with the experience. The service was inattentive; I had to ask for ice water twice, and the staff generally seemed unresponsive to customers’ needs. The margarita was average at best. The Birria tacos were subpar, and the waiter neglected to mention they came without cheese, which was a surprise. The Dos Equis on tap also tasted off. The only positive was the pleasant atmosphere inside the restaurant. Unfortunately, the lackluster service and food quality overshadowed this. I hope improvements are made for future diners.
Their chips are super thin and crispy & their salsa is amazing! Once you start with that, you know the rest will be delicious.
Good dinner options (combinations)
Ambience is very good
Service is good
Food was good too will be back
Delicious Mexican food 😋😋
Tacos were great
Food is ok. Service is ok. Couldn't get more chips for my Queso dip without paying extra. Manager wasn't helpful. Suggest trying one of the many other Mexican restaurants in the area. Los Palmas is better.
Food is consistently great! Staff is attentive and fast. Atmosphere is fun!
I got the special plate that's like a sampler of everything. It was all just a plate of mush slopped on the plate. The chili relleno didn't even have the pepper in it. Was just the breading somehow. My girl got the nachos and they were soggy within 5 minutes and slop as well. Hard pass
It's just great food. The staff is nice, its never dirty/rushed but always feels lively, and the food never misses. I love dining in, but their takeout is so quick and easy that I'm willing to get out of the car to get a quesadilla.
Parking: Never hard to find a spot, just sometimes gotta park down by the Publix if its busy

The best California burrito I've ever tasted. The tortillas are delicious and so is the sauce! Everything very well served.

Good Mexican food with very hefty portion sizes for the price. Highly recommend this place for any gatherings or just a night out when you are craving Mexican. Staff is very friendly and accommodating!

I called in to place a to-go order and the girl that answered the phone to take my order was very unfriendly. After everything I said her response was "anything else?" I could hear her huffing and sighing into the phone. When I asked for a moment because I needed to add one more thing, but wanted to make sure I got it correct, she snapped at me that she was just going to put me on hold. I hung up. If it's that much of an inconvenience to them just to take the order, who knows what the kitchen would do to the food. I'd rather take my business elsewhere.
