Viva Pancho Cantina & Grill

During my dining experiences I have had here I’d say they were okay until tonight. The couple of times going to viva before tonight I have ordered the free home tacos. I asked for a side of jalapeños and they charged me $4 for them. But, tonight they really messed up about everything they could, from getting my order wrong, to trying to charge me for more than what I ordered and after it was fixed my bill was $28 for three enchiladas, beans, rice and a small cheese dip ($8.99). The worst part is my girlfriend who got the enchiladas has a nut allergy, the meal she ordered never mentioned anything of having nuts in them on the menu she has got them before and has been fine but tonight she had an allergic reaction due to something that just have gotten into her food. HORRIBLE experience I will never be coming here again and I suggest you don’t come either unless you would like to over pay for some Mexican food that could maybe something you ordered.

This was our favorite Mexican restaurant but not sure we will be back. We went on a Friday night, 1st week in March. we were seated within 15 minutes in which was fine. But from that point, service was incredibly slow and it just got worse from there. No drink refills, a dish we ordered was supposed to be served on a bed of rice, instead they brought out shrimp and onions only. We asked our server where the rice was and she didn't know. apparently they ran out of rice by 7:45pm. Then the owner came over and had complete attitude as if we were just stupid Americans! Normally a manager or owner offers some type of comp for the meal, not this guy, we were treated very rudely. There were small kids in the kitchen and the overall quality of the meal that night was "off" from what we normally get. I'm sorry that they are short staffed, but you need to be up front and honest with your customers if you are out of rice. etc. Hopefully this will get resolved soon or this restaurant isn't going to last much longer.

Place was pretty empty for 6:30 on a Saturday night. For abplace that was empty service was atrociously slow. That said, $7.50 for chips and salsa....the same chips and salsa that is complimentary at 98% of Mexican restaurants. My wife had fajitas- she didn't like the seasoning on the chicken, my son had a chicken burrito bowl- he liked the chicken- the bowl actually looked really good. I had shrimp tacos- you only get 2, but it was kinda filling- without the $7.50 chips and salsa, I would have still been hungry. Needless to say, not likely going back. Great location- great dining area...could be much better.

Went in for lunch and ordered corn on the Cobb, large bowl of rice, and 32 oz beer. 15.00 Did not order chips and salsa . I thought they were served free with meal like other Mexican restaurants. WRONG I was charged 5.00 for them. I will not be back!
