Steer clear of this location after the sun goes down and the rude waitress renee i think her name . She is hateful n rude . Her tables stay dirty. She smells horrible never washes her hands or wears gloves b4 or while she fondles dishes.

Old Shell Rd/University location is clean, nice employees, and always open when you want to eat. Top best hash browns anyway you want them.
We miss Livi-Malakai & Nicole. After concerts they would handle a packed diner and braves crowd with hardly any issues. Last night the lady wanted to argue with me about “over medium eggs. They were clearly over cooked, even the new cook in Training stated that and he said he would try harder. I was not clear on why she would argue when he was honest. Not mention you can utilize Google and see how to cook an egg over medium with photos! Also when someone pays with cash, typically you give change in dollar bills so the customer can tip accordingly. If you act like it’s a big deal to open the register and get change then you should have given change in ones so tip can occur without issue. Get the old crew back, they have personality and know how to cook. That’s the 3rd time i’ve been given burnt bacon. We stopped eating at this location after concerts because Miss, Zero Personality & over cooked food, that we work too hard to pay for, for it to be thrown away. Then treated like we are a bother and she wants to go back outside and chill on the clock.

I’ve had a great experience! I lived here for 16 years and I’ve loved it, I stared coming to Waffle House here in 2019 and most recently in 2023-2024 but the service is great! Kiki has been an absolute great server! She has showed a lot as a service person but also a lot on a personal level, she’s wants you to feel at home! Reggie had been an amazing cook, making sure everything is almost perfect everytime! I appreciate Kiki and, Reggie the most for taking care of the regular customers and also multiple people I haven't seen before!

This is MY WaHo!! Reggie on the grill, Katie and Keke serving up NOTHING but the BEST customer service….these guys are the ONLY reason I make this my after work stop every late shift I have. Y’all are amazing and I can’t thank you enough for being the BEST crew ever!!
Keke was phenomenally rude to my wife and I. She gave us the silent treatment and moody glares for the entirety of our meal, then stood on her phone while the other server prepared the food. We were eventually able to figure out a cook had just walked out, but that does not mean we should be mistreated because we happened to arrive afterwards. Wife and I have both worked food service and my tolerance for such a thing is incredibly high, but had I ended up paying instead of her I was not intending to tip (which would have been a first).
The food was fine and we recognize the other woman did her best given the circumstances.
