Service was good and the atmosphere has that old cabin feel, no complaints there. The food was mediocre. Food portions were on par with most BBQ restaurants. Chicken was bland, no seasoning or smoke flavor. Brisket slices were ok. The smoke ring was very faint and the bark a little soggy so I'm assuming it was cut and sat in it's juices earlier in the day. Fried Okra had good flavor but for sure was under a heat lamp for a bit. Potato salad was poorly made, maybe...
BillyBob's has homemade BBQ sauce that is amazing. Their BBQ sandwiches are really good and French fries are homemade not frozen. Brunswick stew is Walkers and it's amazing, just a tip, I like to add some corn to mine. The hickory fries are really good and cheesy. The steak is also really good. Highly recommend.
I Haven't ate here in over a decade and I decided to come back yesterday. I tried the catfish etouffee and It was a 10/10! Still a really good place to eat. I will be coming back!
