butter'dudder Premium Ice Cream

I live near here and on special occasions, we go to Butter'Dudder and it is amazing every time. They have a huge variety of flavors (I believe 29 flavors) and they have soft drinks, fudge, and toppings for the ice cream (sprinkles, nerds, m&ms, etc.)

I read the bad reviews and they aren't true. The staff is extremely friendly, I have never gotten sick after eating it, and someone said that they saw someone they knew, so they stepped out of the building and talked. After a few minutes it was 9:00 PM (closing time) and the staff wouldn't allow them back in the building which isn't the staff's fault, they're just following the rules.

Anyhow, it's the best ice cream in town and I highly recommend it!

Great place with interesting flavors that I’ve never seen anywhere else. I wouldn’t say they have a large selection (at this location), but I definitely found a flavor I’d go back for.

I don’t remember the exact name, but it had Blondie pieces in it. 10/10. And I also appreciated the small kids activity station. I was able to enjoy my ice cream with a little bit of peace lol

My family and I stopped in tonight for some ice cream and granted it was close to closing and the line was to the door. While standing there we noticed someone we knew (family friend) outside and stepped out and said hello for a moment because the line was long and knew we would only be a moment. We walked back in and got back in line and at this point the line was still to the door and it just turned 9. It didn’t seem like it would be an issue and after standing there for a few moments one of the workers stated “excuse me, we are now closed” (only talking to us which prompted everyone to turn and look at us) and before I could say anything she added with what looked like annoyance because maybe she realized how “off putting” that was and said “Well.. as long as you know what you want then I can make it”. We just turned around and left because it didn’t really feel like a welcoming environment at that point. I mean, we were in line and stepped outside for just two minutes and made sure to be back in line at 9..not 9:05, 9:10.. but 9 and the line was to the door… honestly, I don’t feel like that should of been an issue or as unwelcoming as it was.

Pretty good ice cream

Very cute ice cream shop that can get crowded at times. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The employees are very kind and friendly. They offer a variety of options. I even saw some vegan options but it was limited.

Y’all must go try their ice cream. Oh my goodness. This truly is some really good homemade ice cream. Run and get you some.

Love the butter brickle and Vietnamese coffee Oreo!

This is the most wonderful little ice cream shop. Family owned, wonderful customer service, and AHmazing ice cream!!! An absolute must when you’re on the square.

Second visit to butterd’udder, first visit to this location. We found the Bremen location in 2020, while in town to visit History Banning Mills. We came back to HBM again in April of 2025, and were excited to have it again - this time visiting the closer, new location in Carrollton! Great service, great flavors, great milkshakes! Thanks!!

Nice flavors and easy to locate. Cool place for a quick stop with friends downtown. Get some icecream, and stop by the bookstores.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Butter’dudder yesterday while picking up a DoorDash order. My boyfriend and I stood by the DoorDash sign, clearly waiting, but two employees blatantly ignored us. They continued to take other orders, including from customers who arrived after us, as if we weren’t even there. After being overlooked multiple times, I finally had to stop one of the employees and say, ‘HELLO, I’M HERE FOR DOORDASH.’ He responded with an attitude, asked for the name, and handed over the order, which had been sitting prepared in the freezer.

The lack of acknowledgment and poor customer service was shocking, especially since I was considering buying my favorite ice cream, the Vietnamese Coffee Oreo flavor, but this experience completely changed my mind. I’m deeply upset and won’t be returning. Butter’dudder needs to address how their staff handles DoorDash pickups, as customers should never be made to feel invisible or unwelcome.

We used budder’d udder for catering at the University of West Georgia Honors College and they did a phenomenal job. April was so kind and so helpful. Our students absolutely absolutely loved the ice cream and they were on time we’re so accommodating and just truly went above and beyond!
