We stopped here on our way through Carrollton. The food was very good! I had the Sincronizada - similar to a shrimp fajita with plump shrimp, sauteed peppers and onions, tomatoes, and cheese sauce. I had mine with salsa rather than cheese sauce. My husband had the luncheon beef fajitas and ate every bite! The salsa was really good and the chips were hot. Griselle was our server and she was polite, friendly, and professional!!
Fast friendly service tasty Mexican cuisine. I would go for El Monterey fajitas and a negro Modelo add yourself a side of guacamole and cheese dip. You will be sleeping like a baby when you get home
I have (until now) been a big fan of Monterrey's, but today has shattered that. Spent over $60 dollars on a To Go order and was very disappointed. Went to pick up the order and upon arriving, customer service was lifeless and very unwelcoming. Arriving with our food, we sat down to eat and most the meals were tasteless and The chips tasted like they were two or 3 days old.. the refried beans looked, tasted like canned beans and queso tasted like something that you would get...
