Carrollton Giovanni’s is my holy grail. Anytime someone asks where to find something good, this is the first place I recommend. Their baked ziti and strombolis are my go-to favorites, always hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The staff is consistently friendly, and above all, the food never changes: classic, comforting Italian dishes done right every single time. This place has carried me, my brother, and my friends through college, and I honestly don’t know what I’ll do when I graduate. Proud to be a fan of Carrollton Giovanni’s.

My experience tonight was great! Although I didn’t dine in the workers at the front KP and Sarah were welcoming and took my order with ease and the food came out fast with only 10 minute wait. The food was hot and fresh. Props to the kitchen, my food is always great! Do wish the tv had sound instead of subtitles while people dine in and wait for their food but overall great place!

I’ve been eating at Giovanni’s from both (Carrollton and Bremen) locations for nearly 20 years, and before Covid their food was always superior and delicious. Unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill badly since then.
I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak that tasted like salted cardboard with melted cheese. My son got the spaghetti dinner with extra sauce — the noodles looked like a half order, and the sauce resembled something out of a Chef Boyardee can. To make the ratio decent, I had to order more noodles at full price.
The fries were undercooked, and I only managed to eat half my cheese steak. I didn’t bother complaining to the waitress because it didn’t seem worth it. The only highlight was the unsweetened tea, which was excellent.
In the end, the main point of going out was to spend time with my son, and that was worth more than the bad food and service. At least he enjoyed his plate of spaghetti — so that’s a win.

They can never make wings correctly. They always soggy or cold and the sauce is always dry. it’s rare you catch them on a good night. Honestly shocked I still give them a chance. Please hire a new staff man.

I ordered the chicken alfredo, and it was rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. The pasta was cooked just right, and the portion size was generous without being overwhelming. My friend got the pizza, and I had to steal a slice—it had that classic, slightly crispy crust with a great balance of cheese and sauce. You can tell they use fresh ingredients.
Prices were fair for the quality, and we didn’t feel rushed at all, which made the experience even better. Overall, if you’re in Carrollton and craving some good Italian comfort food, I’d definitely recommend Giovanni’s. It’s one of those places you’ll want to come back to.

I work overnight and live just 5 minutes away, so I’m always ordering from here. Last night , an Uber driver misread my order and brought me water instead of a Coke. KP was very understanding and kind, and they were able to resolve the issue quickly. Every time I come in, everyone is nice and welcoming. The food is always really good!
We ordered lasagna and cheese ravioli that in the past was pretty good. However tonight it was terrible. The sauce used was pizza sauce. They’ve never made our pasta with pizza sauce. We couldn’t even eat it. A huge waste of money. We won’t be going back.
