Place was really cold. Staff has to put a space heater at the front of the restaurant. For the price, I would recommend eating there. They have a variety of options. Service was great.

People are nice , it's bn remodeled but I would take the old with better food . The food is awful !!! We were so hungry and all the food had no taste . Someone else posted everything taste like it's cooked in just boiled water . I resented spending money and leaving hungry . Some of the hot food is cold . It was the worst meal I've ever paid for. I rated low on service because part of service is providing good eatable food.The cream potatoes were homemade and were good. The rest of the food I tried but couldn't eat it . I should have known if the place is almost empty at 1 50pm on Sunday that the food must not be good. Always had to wait awhile for a table on Sundays. As leaving health inspection was 80 . I try to remember to check before even taking a table but forgot . K

I came to eat on Sunday and the food tasted like they put the same as on Saturday and the bathrooms smelled bad and when someone wants to go to the bathroom they tell you that the bathroom is tacked because it mixes with the same water from the restroom

I used to love this place over almost two decades ago.. however, this is one of the most gut-wrenching reviews I've ever done because the owner is such a sweet lady, however, the food was just terrible. After eating i noticed their rating and it concured how I felt. The food seemed old and flavorless and the restaurant has seen better days. Service-wise, you can't ask for much better - the owner brought us fresh fried green tomatoes, which were decent, however the rest of the food was not good. Nostalgia was the only reason I came back, sadly I cannot endorse this place anymore.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. They were friendly and the buffet had plenty of different types of food. There were a couple of items that needed salt. Other than that, it was delicious; especially the squash and fried green tomatoes.

I will never eat here again. Most of the food trays were mostly empty if not completely empty. The only meat they had when we got there was fried fish and we waited for almost 30 minutes before they added fried chicken and it was over cooked. The mac and cheese was awful, watery and didn't taste like cheese, more like flavorless pasta in a milky soup. Black eyes peas tasted weird. Almost all their vegetables were just floating in water. There was no banana pudding and their peach cobbler was gelatinous and gross. This whole experience was really awful. Would not recommend.

I try and normaly leave positive reviews, but food was bad, like really bad. And me and my family tried everything just about it. We will not ever be back. BUT, the workers were very nice, if that matters to you more than food.
