Wonderful staff with great food!!

The staff were so nice and accommodating to our party. They weren’t that fake chitty-chatter you get elsewhere. They just seemed genuinely nice and interested in helping.

The food, mixed drinks and draft beer…..spot on. They brought us fresh bread without us asking for more. We got salads, lasagna, ravioli, and the trio of Italy. No one complained and all loved it. That’s hard to do. We all left very happy with our experience. A true gem!!!!

Get the blueberry cocktail. It was amazing. 🥰

The food was really good. The restaurant was very nice. Seemed to have adequate staff to handle the diners that were in the restaurant. The server sat us almost immediately and provided menus. He then left and did not return for several minutes. He got our drink order, a few more minutes pass by. When he brought the drinks, I thought he was going to take our order, but no, he takes someone else’s order that came in after us. By this time, approximately 15 minutes had passed. He finally comes back to take our order. Meanwhile most restaurants bring bread and salad orders while waiting on the main entree, not today. After our meal, took just as long to get the check. Aside from the slow service, the experience and food was really nice.

After being a loyal customer, ordering the same pizza, the manager decided to cancel my order today and will not accept anymore orders from me. After some great tasting pizzas from here that was delivered, certain days had burned crust and was very greasy in the red sauce, actually dripping with grease .
I feel its not my fault they made the error in cooking.
Some days it was perfect and tasty, how a simple pizza should be.
Im not asking for a super complex lunch here. It's not hard to cook a simple cheese pizza without burned crust.
And yes, I know cheese produces grease. But the sauce was actually the undelightful taste plus the burned crust.
Ive never had a restaurant do this. They usually get my order correct and appreciate a loyal customer.

To the manager, Mr. Gross,
I never harassed your staff. I was always cordial and kind. Not to be childish, but, a couple of your young ladies I spoke with was actually rude to me and i never reported or was ugly.
And making a habit of harrassing.. I have plenty of things to do besides talking to restaurants... like I really do have a real life and have to work to pay bills.
But the day you canceled my order , I did let the staff member know that I was going to write a google review of my experience.
If you took pictures, you would know some days my order was cooked perfect. No problem.
The others would hopefully show what I am describing, if they were actually of my order.
I do appreciate your staff when I first had the issue. Attentive.
To the customer it is clearly different pizzas everytime. Had i gotten the cooks name when they were great, I would have called to see if that person was working that day before I ordered.
But, I never wanted any money back, never asked for it. I just wanted a good tasting pizza which is not too much to ask of a food establishment.
These orders were my lunch at work.
When they were burned and or greasy, I couldnt eat it thus went without lunch all day. Plus wasted money by throwing it in the garbage.
I have a medical issue and can not eat burned or greasy food. It makes me very sick.
But if you call asking for a good pizza on the days it was horrible, harassment, then you obviously do not understand the definition sir.
I never ask anything of anyone that I wouldn't do for someone else.

Excellent food - and so many GLUTEN FREE options. I'm very sensitive to cross contamination and have never gotten sick here.

I don't know what is going on here. We have eaten here several times in the past and enjoyed out food and service. Yesterday the place seemed out of sorts. Long wait for placing orders. Lunch plates came out prior to salads. Had to remind the waiter of what we ordered and then wait some more to receive it. Food was O.K. Maybe they have had a change in management???

On a recent visit on a very busy night, Megan worked hard covering the bar and our table and many other tables to make sure we were well taken care of. Our other experiences in the past have also been positives.

My sister and I came here for dinner and they did not disappoint. The food and drinks were delicious. We definitely left here with a full tummy 😋. Great atmosphere and wonderful servers. Highly recommend!

Hubby and I came in while waiting for tires. Absolutely cozy! We had this waitress that was AMAZING. I am awful with names, but I believe her name was Megan. Says Netta M on our receipt.
Her personality was beautiful. We had a lot in our lives that just intertwined! She was such a pleasure to get to know! Told us her recommendations and they felt genuine!
We ended up getting a Mean Green Pizza. Brick oven baked, hand made... NUFF SAID!
IT WAS SOOO GOOOD!
They showed they offered take out orders as well, but we chose to just sit a bit...
From great sized booths, to small tables and bar seating, this place would be great for that simple gathering of friends/family to watch a game on the TV, to a possible first date... or just like us, a date for no reason but just because!
Sitting just at the square, on the very end at 120 Alabama Street, definitely stop in for some great food and amazing people!
You may make a new friend...or even nail a second date! It is almost across from the arts center.

I do not recommend this place. Food was cold when it finally got to my table, wait was long, and the waitress had a unpleasant look on her face the entire time as if she hated her job. Alot of negative energy in the air. I have lived in Carroll county all my life along with several family members and business owners and we will not be back to this restaurant. I definitly will not recommend this place to anyone.

Stopped in to have a few glasses of wine and a bite to eat. The bartender Megan was so knowledgeable and knew exactly what to offer me when I explained what I was looking for. I ended up getting the Cajun Shrimp linguine special and it was THE BOMB. Not only was Megan knowledgeable about the menu and specials, but she is a true mixologist which was definitely noticeable from the way she made the smoked old fashioned another guest had ordered. I'll definitely be back just to have one of hers.
