Solo Caribbean Food Take Out

I finally got the opportunity to go and try this place and bring my mom. It DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The portions are large, the atmosphere is so awesome, the staff were so inviting (even got to listen to the bartender singing the old school R&B playing), and the food was delicious! The pineapple lemonade was soooo good! We will definitely be back!

The server was super welcoming and attentive. We later learned she is Solo’s daughter. Strawberry lemonade is great and refreshing. The food is authentic and fresh, made to order. The Rasta pasta is to die for! Jerk chicken is phenomenal and soooo tender. The portions are so big, too. Solo visited our table and wanted all the feedback we could give him. This man wants to make sure his guests leave happy and full! We will most definitely return!

The curry goat was fantastic! Super tender and juicy. Joy was my server was exactly what her name says. I will definitely be back as often as possible.

Exceptional Oxtail and Outstanding Service I was on the hunt for some excellent oxtail and, after reading reviews of other places that didn't quite convince me, I decided to give this establishment a try. I am so glad I did! The passion and love that Chef Josie and Mr. Solo put into their Caribbean cuisine is palpable and truly reflected in their food. The absolute best and authentic Caribbean food in the area hands down! Love it! Can’t wait til they open on Maple Street in Carrollton! I have travelled extensively through the Caribbean and you will not find food anywhere that matches.
