Great hole in the wall for some tasty BBQ! I had the pulled pork plate with Brunswick stew and fried okra. Everything was delicious and good size portions. Other reviews about ‘not enough sauce’ are a bit odd. The sauce was rather light but I would suggest doing exactly as I did and go ask for more sauce lol. Staff was friendly and the ambiance was nice with country music coming through the speakers. I would definitely like to see the place get a good deep cleaning though. The vents had a lot of greasy dust built up and the rest could use a little TLC but overall a great experience! I’ll be back :)

First time ordering, I got the hickory fries and a sweet tea. It’s located in a convenients spot. Loved it has a drive thru. The food was so yummy. So fresh.

I have to stop at Lively's whenever I come to Cedartown. I went yesterday and it wasn't as bad. But today I was so upset. My fries were refried several times. I couldn't believe

Place is disgusting the Vents are covered in grease and what other mystery substance you walk in there and it's like everything needs to be scrubbed and what's crazy as they have an A 🤢🤮 there's no telling how long the barbecue sauce has sit out the floor in the back where the cook is disgusting looking and what's crazy is people we're in the Drive-Thru why do they know it looks like this on the inside
Slaw b que and pork rolls were amazing!
Old time style and comfortable atmosphere. The food is GREAT! The folks here make their own BBQ sauces and each one is delicious!! From the fried okra, the homemade Mac n Cheese, and pulled pork, you won't leave here disappointed IF you know & love real southern food.

I've never had bbq with this lack of sauce. Ridiculous. $47 for 2 pork plates, pork sandwich, and 2 drinks. Even more ridiculous.

I will say the chicken and fried pickles are usually good. However, the main issues were timeliness and presentation. I ordered chicken tenders, fried pickles, and a hot dog. Something that shouldn't take that long. But I ended up waiting 20 minutes for my food. I could see the workers arguing while looking at orders and their receipts. My order must've either been forgotten or given to the wrong person because they then quickly threw it together, serving the fried foods straight from the fryer before handing it to me. When i got home and finally checked the food, the fried food had been so hot that it'd melted not just the Styrofoam container but the plastic ramacin of ranch and honey mustard; spilling the dips all over to food. The fried pickles were inedible because all the ranch had made the fried parts come off, leaving a weird ranch and pickle soup kind of thing. If you eat here, maybe ask for your dips to be separate from the food, and set aside 30 minutes to wait for your food.
Parking: Parking lot is full of pot holes and the drive thru is very tight.
