The service, I must say, was very quick! But the food was not very good to me for the price. Too much salt!

Today was my first time eating here. My husband walked in to pick up the food and the lady was on the phone. She looked at him continue her conversation then got up to assist my husband…I am from the Trini and I must say very very disappointing. My husband found plastic in his food. The rice was dry. No flavor. Will not be eating from this place for sure. Definitely not worth $50.00…

My first time eating at this location. The food was okay and i had better Jamaican food. The lady that took my order needs training in people skills. The atmosphere is not inviting. The employees not customer friendly. For the money that I spent i expected more. I will not return back to do do business. If you want your business to grow hire new staff.

Wonderful staff, Wonderful food, peaceful atmosphere. I have a suggestions. Remodeling the outside of your establishment as well as the diner room area with a fresh coat of paint with lighter, brighter colors, have better lighting, add a little decor or a few plants. Less gravy on the rice because too much gravy can overpower the other foods. Lastly, to get the parking lot pressure washed and clean because it can potentially turn some people off by having to walk over smashed food in the parking lot before walking into a food establishment to get something to eat. Other than that, a wonderful place, good food, and very professional staff.

J&F is always a great experience. The service is fast and friendly. The owner is also very friendly and has great customer service. The food here is so good. We always get the Jerk Chicken with rice&peas and cabbage, also the oxtails with rice&peas and macaroni. We recently tried the Rasta Pasta and it was a 10/10. We eat here weekly and will continue to do so, it never disappoints every is a 10/10!

Restaurantji Recommends
I don’t usually submit reviews – good or bad; however, I must voice my grievance about my experience yesterday at J&F Caribbean Delight on Gunn Road in Centerville. I arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 pm. The woman who took my order was initially pleasant. Part of my order was for two of the 2-piece Fried Tilapia/Escoveitch Fish Dinners w/two sides. I ordered the first fish dinner followed by a kid’s meal, then ordered the second fish dinner. The woman taking my order asked how I wanted the fish cooked. For both orders, I told her I wanted it FRIED.
After I paid and sat to wait for my order, I looked at my receipt and saw that the first fish dinner listed was a 2-piece STEAMED fish. I went back to the counter to talk to the same woman who had taken my order. She was cleaning something when I approached the counter with my receipt and said “Excuse me.” She said, “One minute ma’am” and seemed annoyed that I was bothering her while she was trying to clean. I waited until she finished cleaning. I showed her my receipt and told her that I wanted both fish orders to be fried, but on the receipt it listed one as steamed. (There were 3 other customers in the restaurant when I was explaining this to her.) She told me that I said I wanted one of them steamed. I told her no, I wanted both of them fried. Then she started talking very fast and I again repeated that I wanted both dinners fried. I went and sat back down to wait for my order. (My thought is that perhaps if they did not have the TV blaring so loudly, which hangs on the wall directly behind the register, that she could hear customers’ orders correctly.)
When she called me to the counter to get my order, I took it over to a booth and checked it. Everything was correct except the bottom plate in the bag. It had what looked to be steamed fish. I closed the container and approached the counter. I told the woman that it was steamed fish, and I had told her that I wanted BOTH orders to be fried. She started raising her voice and said that I told her steamed. She did not offer to make it right/prepare another FRIED dinner for me. I know it was near to their closing time, but customer service is EVERYTHING. It would not have taken more than 5 minutes to fry 2 pieces of fish for. But…then again, they do fry their fish and chicken to death – until it is dark, dark brown and crispy like potato chips, so it MAY have taken a lot longer than 5 minutes to fry.
When I saw that she was not going to offer to remake the dinner and she was standing at the counter blatantly lying about what I ordered, I just took the container with the “steamed fish,” which looked more like a pile of steamed bell peppers and carrots with a few small morsels of what was supposed to be fish underneath the pile of peppers. I mean, forget “Where’s the beef?” “Where’s the fish?!?”
I decided not to argue with her. Nope, I will allow my wallet to do the talking. I will NEVER patronize or go into that tiny hot box of a restaurant EVER again. They will never again get a $65.92 order from me. They won’t even have the pleasure of selling me a bottled drink! I try to support locally owned businesses, but they take customers for granted and do not know how to treat them. Ok, cool. I will also tell the group from my hometown that comes to Warner Robins for their quarterly meetings and goes to J&F Caribbean Delight and spends hundreds of dollars, to NOT patronize that establishment again either.
Lastly, I agree with what was said in some of the other reviews on this site that the food IS NOT authentic Jamaican food. They are absolutely right! I have been to Jamaica several times and the food at J&F Caribbean Delight is far from being authentic Jamaican food. If anything, it is authentic by way of Willacoochee, GA. The food at J&F Caribbean Delight is NOT a delight and my last experience there was NOT a pleasure.

This is the best Jamaican spot I’ve ever had and let’s not start on the Rasta pasta. My mother who wasn’t a big fan of oxtails has now love oxtails ever since she tried this restaurant and the Rasta pasta is her favorite. Even though the food is amazing the customers service isn’t as welcoming, they’re semi-nice but not welcoming. There’s also this particular worker there who is extremely inappropriate and gives googly eyes to every girl who walks through the door, and makes comments and remarks at them, and even tries to ask questions about them myself included that’s something you don’t do at a place of work. For example, me and friend came in one day and she wanted to sit down and eat. We literally would catch him peeking behind the “employees only” door and watch us eat, it made me super uncomfortable and I wanted to leave immediately. Another time was when I ordered food to go that day and he followed me out the door to my car and asked me could he have a second and talk to me and I asked him why and at that point i was more uncomfortable than I ever been with all that’s going on in the world with sex trafficking, etc I had to stay cautious and safe at all times especially with me being by myself most of the time I was there. I told myself I wasn’t going to go back alone, I’m going to start bringing my boyfriend with me. Stay safe out there ladies, we have to stick together in times like these!
