Passing through town, went for early dinner on Monday, & I was so disappointed. Way overpriced for the quality of food and margarita, with a bonus of having stomach issues today.The only people eating were staff, the restaurant was empty. Most of the dining tables, including ours, didn’t have salt/pepper- any condiments on them (not prepped for service).Shared guacamole, pitcher of lime margarita on the rocks, and steak fajitas. Guacamole was ok, there might have been a splash of tequila in the $21 pitcher of margaritas (couldn’t even taste it- only watery, sugary sweet/sour mix), steak fajitas had no nasty parts, but few onions & peppers, & had to ask for the tortillas.Edit: forgot to mention significant surcharge (they don’t mention it prior to running transaction) for paying with debit/credit - bring cash.

Just an awful excuse for Mexican. This place used to be good, but it’s went downhill since they only have teenagers working there and nobody supervising. Literally waited in the lobby for 10 minutes to pick up an order while you can hear girls laughing up a storm in the back. After specifically asking them if the beans were made right (because the food never is) and then them telling me they were made properly today, they still gave me nasty watered down soup beans. This place is terrible. Save your money.

Abysmal service. Waited over 20 minutes for our check and the waitress ignored us. Got up to pay, my daughter's meal was the same price as mine, even when it was a small. The food was tolerable. I have had way better Mexican food at other local places and it was less expensive.This is the same location where Fiesta uses to be, and it's the same as it was before. Nothing has changed.Do not recommend. Spend the extra time driving north on Hwy. 411 to Los Maguey's. You will be much happier.
We ordered El Ranchero twice this past week via Doordash. Each time the food was fresh and the portions are HUGE! You definitely get your moneys worth. Everything we ordered was always delicious. The last order wasn't even fully correct but still was good so we didn't complain! I've not been to the location to eat in quite a while. It used to be rather laid back and not crowded. While I enjoyed it, I always thought that chatsworth is sleeping on this little hole in the wall bc their service and food and prices are really good and now they deliver (doordash)?? Try El Ranchero! You won't be disappointed!!
