Passing through on a Monday night. The service was excellent, friendly and fast. Food came out in minutes and it was delicious. My husband ordered a chicken taco salad. He said it was one of the best he’s had. I got 2 beef tacos and a draft beer. The bill was $13!!!!! Seriously! Great food, great service and a price you just can’t beat!!

I hate leaving bad reviews but after about 4 times, it is necessary. I gave Los Maguey one last chance and I regret it. The staff and service is always impeccable. They're friendly and respectful and always accommodating. The food though...no. I have added photos of the Maguey nachos. I also had a grilled chicken nachos and a fajita chicken nachos that looked the same. The beef nachos supreme was fine. It's always the grilled chicken. It is saturated with seasoning so heavily that it is inedible. And the grease is unreal. I have tried several different items over a year or so and anything with grilled chicken cannot be eaten. It is too heavily seasoned, to the point the cheese dip looks like Velveeta from the orange seasoning floating in it and it's extra greasy. The photos aren't edited. It shows how the cheese looks and also it was almost burnt. I won't try them again. I officially give up. Food is too expensive to have to throw it away without enjoying it. I'm disappointed and was left hungry but I can say I tried with Los Maguey. They failed over and over.

Me and my boyfriend have ate here alot. We have tried another local mexican restaurant. Los maygueys is our favorite and number 1 go to. Sometimes we go once a week. We try to get something different off the menu everytime we go. Their food is delicious chips and salsa is delicious and I love their cheese dip!! The service is excellent, the waiters and other staff are very friendly and always polite. My favorite dish is the Texas fajitas, Hawaiian burrito. Eventually I'm going to try the other Hawaiian dishes they have. They also make good peach margaritas.

Steak quesadilla was swimming in grease. The Togo pan was full of grease and the quesadilla itself wasn't edible. The cheese inside tasted foul like it had soured. For a steak quesadilla(no sides), a cup of cheese, and a drink to go it was $19. They didn't give a receipt either to see how they came up with this outrageous price. Overpriced for food that was not edible. Seriously disappointed.

We hadn't been here in 4 years because we found hair in our food twice in a row....but we recently found ourselves back again and were really enjoying it until our LAST visit, when the waiter LOUDLY BLEW HIS NOSE in front of God and everybody. Maybe that's acceptable behavior in Mexico, but it ain't here! Don't blow your nose while people are eating!

I have no idea why this place has 4.5 stars. The service was terrible - it took forever to get drinks, our order was wrong and came out at very different times. My food was cold (and somehow came out later than my husband's food) and not at all as described in the menu. My husband and I's food tasted awful - bland and the texture was off too.
