Make Mountains Salad by Little Rome

My wife and I went to Ft. Mountain State Park and decided to grab lunch in Chatsworth. We always look for independent restaurants and Make Mountains Salad by Little Rome is just a great little sandwich/salad shop.
It's a nice little sit down place with a gift shop on the other side. I had the Grassy Grinder on Rye which was really good. The meats and cheese on toasted rye had a relish of pepperoncini's and red onion really made it. My wife had the pimento cheese which was really good as well.
Very friendly staff who genuinely appreciates business.
When you hit these small towns, look for gems like this. I'd go out of my way to go back

We chose to use Make Mountains-Salads by Little Rome a second time after rave reviews from our team at work on the first order. Our second experience was just as great. We ordered and picked up sandwiches and desserts for an employee engagement event. I received a call to make sure our ordered was just as we needed, we were allowed to pickup on a Saturday, and everything was delicious! Couldn’t ask for more!!

I booked Make Mountain Salad for after my Mother’s funeral and this place and the staff was absolutely amazing. They came in on an off day and made us feel right at home. The salad bar had everything you could think of…they offered delicious sandwiches and drinks. They kept the salad bar stocked and everything was fresh and delicious. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Thank you so very much.

Stopped in to give chatsworth's newest restaurants a try.It's basically a sandwich and salad bar shop, and when I asked I was told that eventually they will add soups.I ordered the Ruben, and my wife ordered the salad bar. The salad bar is sold by weight and they have two options, a pound I believe the price was $7.99, or all you can eat for around $14.The Reuben had plenty of meat, sauerkraut and cheese, however it was slightly wet, the sauerkraut could have been drained a little better and the bread could have used a little better toasting.The salad bar has quite a collection of fresh quality foods, and all of the dressings are made in house.They have some of the best sweet tea that I have had at any restaurant.The staff was very courteous, friendly and outgoing, and the small dining room was very clean.There is some parking on main Street, but traffic being what it is, you may want to opt for the parking lot behind the restaurant.Definitely a value for the freshness and quality of the food.If you found this review helpful, please make sure to click like.

Great little restaurant! The Salad bar is the Main Attraction ! Freshest selections of anywhere I’ve ever tried. The dressings are so very Tasty! I have even had the Little Roman sandwich! Wonderful! I can’t say enough about Make Mountains other than OUTSTANDING!

Lots of variety and selection. Food was fresh. Could be more protein options. The price was extremely reasonable. We wish there was real utensils and plates instead of only plastic options.
