All I can say.....If you have not been yet you should go asap! We have spent many days with this family oriented restaurant/bar. The owners are the real deal....super honest, hardworking locals.
My boyfriend didn't do the math correctly on the bill today...and the owner came and clarified it with him. It was to the benefit of the bar...and yet she came over and asked about it. Billy Goat Island Pizza Bar is a fun local spot on Lake Burton with a beautiful lake and marina setting. It is a relaxed and welcoming pizza joint where you can roll in after a day on the water. The woodfire pizza is great, considered the best pizza within 50+ miles, with flavors like the Billy Goat pizza with hot honey being next level. The wings are also really on point and delicious. They offer Gluten Free pizza that doesn’t look like a personal pan pizza. A standout appetizer is the Farmers Cheese Dip. It is also the best place to watch football, with great energy on game days. The owners and staff are amazing, very hospitable, and provide thoughtful service, creating a top notch experience. It is a must go to spot if you are on the lake or in the area.
