Absolutely wonderful time staying in the Burton Cabin and eating at Bleu Canoe restaurant. The restaurant has a large dog friendly outdoor patio with magical string lights and big trees that provide the perfect outdoor ambiance. Food is outstanding and so unique to the region. You can tell that the quality of ingredients is high and that a lot of care goes into the preparation. Their stocks are homemade! Wednesdays is oyster grilling night and Thursdays is live music. A must visit restaurant when in the area or make it a weekend getaway with a stay in one of their historic cabins or tiny homes.
best cajun on the lake! gumbo, jambalaya, and also the best bread!
Quaint remote hidden gem of a restaurant. Food and atmosphere is excellent.
Great food selection
Fantastic food!
First time visiting. Easy drive in from Clayton. Had the jambalaya and gumbo with a side of fries. All were excellent. Service was awesome as well. Would definitely come back and appreciate that they have a different genre of food than other restaurants in area.
Went to dinner with my wife. Our waitress forgot about us on multiple times. I will go back but I will not sit in her area again. Food is always great.
We didn't stay in a cabin just went for a meal. The food was excellent as well as the service. The chicken Alfredo was wonderful and for desert the cheesecake is a must. We are every bite. I will definitely return for another meal
We ate at the restaurant. It was Cajun style food.
We stayed in the Dogwood tiny home. It was very easy check in. The cabin was very clean. You have to climb a ladder to get to the bed in the loft. The shower is beautiful and has shampoo/conditioner/body wash in a nice dispenser. This was very nice because of course I forgot to pack ours. When we arrived we could not get the bathroom lights to come on. I text the phone number provided in the book when we arrived. Within 10 minutes I had a answer from the owner and we had electricity in the bathroom within a minute. They have a beautiful restaurant on the grounds with delicious food. It was raining that evening and we sat out on the covered patio. It was very relaxing and calming. I would stay/eat hear again. The owner seated us and had a chat. The waitress was very nice and very helpful with questions we had. If you are looking for a great place for couples this is the place. There is alot to do in the area. Also check out Anna Ruby Falls. It was absolutely beautiful. We look forward to returning to the area.

Restaurant was fantastic! Excellent food with outdoor atmosphere. Very family and dog friendly
We came for the first time last weekend while we were visiting Lake Burton and we had an awesome experience. Bread is phenomenal, food is good, and drinks are great. There was a bit of a long wait for a table but we were able to sit down at the bar immediately. Becca was so nice and accommodating. I’d come back just for her 100%. Thank you!
Excellent New Orleans style cuisine.
Great spot with plenty of shade trees. Great service. Great food—mainly with a Cajun twist. Will definitely be back!
Amazing meals in a relaxed indoor and outdoor environment. Delicious food and great drinks.
