Absolutely wonderful time staying in the Burton Cabin and eating at Bleu Canoe restaurant. The restaurant has a large dog friendly outdoor patio with magical string lights and big trees that provide the perfect outdoor ambiance. Food is outstanding and so unique to the region. You can tell that the quality of ingredients is high and that a lot of care goes into the preparation. Their stocks are homemade! Wednesdays is oyster grilling night and Thursdays is live music. A must visit...
First time visiting. Easy drive in from Clayton. Had the jambalaya and gumbo with a side of fries. All were excellent. Service was awesome as well. Would definitely come back and appreciate that they have a different genre of food than other restaurants in area.
We didn't stay in a cabin just went for a meal. The food was excellent as well as the service. The chicken Alfredo was wonderful and for desert the cheesecake is a must. We are every bite. I will definitely return for another meal
