My burger was cooked perfectly. Loved the blue cheese crumbles with the bacon jam. Server was great. Was not crowded. The prices were worth it for the quality, portion size and taste of the food. Seems like an unknown treasure!
I always look for amazing ambience and they have it! Food and service was superb as well!
The food was amazing and the waitresses were amazing. Also as we had a major storm and we were sitting outside, and they brought us inside and served us Outstandingly!
“Boom boom” sauce with fried green tomatoes steered us away from it and we tried the bread which we do NOT recommend. The balsamic used was so far from any real balsamic vinegar it wasn’t even funny. It was so watery that you couldn’t even get any because the viscosity of the cheap oil was so much higher than it.
Next came the lobster bisque, which can only be described as what might happen if you steeped crab shells in Campbell’s soup for a few hours. It had the unmistakable smell of something fishy—and not in a culinary sense. It arrived suspiciously fast (less than a minute after ordering), and not a shred of lobster or even a chunk of anything could be found in the bowl.
Then came the “French dip,” which was nothing short of a culinary crime. When we asked what was on it, the waitress (who was kind and helpful, to her credit) returned to inform us the kitchen had added queso alongside the provolone. Yes, queso—on a French dip. She thankfully brought a replacement without it, but the damage was done. The updated version was bland, forgettable, and frankly, something you’d expect to pay $1.50 for at a gas station. The accompanying au jus? Straight-up chicken stock from a box.
The one redeeming quality? The music was decent—at least something was thoughtfully curated.
The table next to us had a steak removed from the bill as it was overcooked and charred.
The Ruben was an atrocity. Do not recommend the restaurant. Not worth it.
The only reason for 1 star was the waitress.
Nice little restaurant. Great menu and good service. I had the Cesear salad and it was delicious. We also got the burger and the bun was very good. Only thing I recommend is to explicitly state that the black bean burger comes with mayo. Server was attentive and the patio was nice but can get a little noisy with the downtown car traffic.
Don’t let the price scare you, I was in town for a bike riding event and had just finished a 55 mile bike ride and ate 3 main courses. ALL were delicious. 1. 14oz ribeye. 2. a shrimp dinner. 3. full size Caesar salad. Yes, I ate everything. I burned 3800 calories on the ride.
Go there, you won’t regret it and the atmosphere was wonderful.

Took an hour to get drinks. Waitress was originally the hostess and it was her first time waiting. Shrimp Alfredo tasted like canned Alfredo and frozen boiled shrimp. Not impressed. This is all management's fault. Need some kitchen management and more wait staff.
We had a group of 16 and it was handled wonderfully. The food is always delicious.
Amazing food and great service
Romantic atmosphere for date night. Staff are extremely polite and attentive. We recommend the spinach and artichoke dip, the seafood pasta and the salmon. All 3 were fresh and flavorful

Absolutely fantastic meal today. It was our first time at The Attic and we were so impressed with everything from the food to the service to the atmosphere. We own a cabin rental in Clarkesville and this restaurant is definitely going in our guest recommendation book!! Kudos to the new Manager who was extremely personable.

Celebrated our anniversary here. He got the steak quesadilla but didn’t even finish it. Steak was really thin, like Philly sandwich meat and warm tomatoes and lettuces were a no go.
The onion rings were not good.
Stuffed trout was decent, lacking a little something in flavor but would eat again.
The Smokey Attic drink was fabulous once I realized I should crush up the fruit at the bottom to even the flavors out.
Our server was subpar.
Atmosphere was a 3 maybe 4, has potential but maybe we came on an off night.
Overall I would try it again but without kids next time as well since items are priced a little higher.
Side note: I liked the paper on the tables for coloring if you do choose to dine with kids
