Stopped in after fishing. Small town vibes, lots of homemade options. The brownies were out of this world!!!
Beautiful store an restaurant perfect for it's place on Lake Burton. Highly recommend
Great place. The staff is wonderful and the food is excellent
Vince and team crank out some high end restaurant quality smokehouse meats, Togo meals like chicken parm, pan seared trout, wrapped sandwiches and a surprisingly good wine & cheese case. Plus all the basic sundries of a good ol market without having to make it all the way to Clayton. Don’t sleep on the homemade brownies either.
It is a good place to shop
I absolutely love this place . The little restaurant and the store , the pies and cakes and food in the store is absolutely the best I’ve ever had.. I love coming to rabun , but this makes the trip even better!!!

My family has had a house at Lake Burton for almost 30 years and we have purchased many things here over the years, even before it was called the Farmhouse. Today we stopped in to buy a few things and the cashier named Robin was so egregiously rude to my daughters and I. The cashier’s behavior brought one of my girls close to tears. We will never be back.

Planning our next trip to the area and just realized I didn’t review after our last trip. We ate at several of the most popular restaurants downtown, and the meals I took back to our rental from here blew those meals out of the water! I’m bringing a cooler this time to bring some goodies home!

My husband and I ate lunch there today. It was absolutely scrumptious! We ate at the grill and then shopped for take home food tonight. The sea bass with capers and artichoke is my new fav. Plenty of meals to choose from and for keto dieters, great selection of meats, cheese and gourmet olives.
Something for everyone!
The chicken fajitas are my current favorite, delicious and always friendly! Absolutely the best place to stop if you you are headed to Lake Burton!
Previously known as Lake Burton Grocery, this grill and market is now called Farmhouse Market Lake Burton. There’s a little convenience store selling snacks, some fresh produce, and a selection of grab-and-go salads and take-and-reheat dinner entrees. Next door, and part of the same business, is a small grill offering burgers, hot dogs, BLTs, and more. Our sandwiches were just OK, nothing amazing. What made them hard to swallow was that they were served with a big side of racism, as (after we’d ordered and paid) the owner’s brother came out of the kitchen to express his strongly-held anti-immigrant opinions: “Joe Biden may have let you into this country, but that don’t mean we like you.” In the future we will spend our money elsewhere. Racism leaves a bitter aftertaste.
Such a cute little place to stop for those simple needs. Great deli, sandwiches and snacks. One of my favorites are the times is when cook to order hot food is going. Really relaxing to sit out and enjoy your tasty hot or cold, your choice food.
Great food prepared fresh daily .with a twist of a upper class restaurant food without the hassel of waiting for a table and ordering no waiting game here ...GRAB AND GO .great idea wish there was more places like this .
