I ordered a steak taco here and the steak was FANTASTIC! The food tasted good and fresh. This is a solid choice for a local restaurant. Also the prices are excellent and the portions are big. I got just one taco for lunch because I wasn’t too hungry, I was expecting just a small portion but it was a big solid taco. My brother got a supreme burrito and it was MASSIVE. Good spot!
We’ve decided to stop at Manrique’s every time we travel through Clayton! Our party of 6 all agreed that our food orders were flavorful, very well priced and the portions generous! The super burrito was huge, the enchiladas delicious and house sauces great. Manuel was our helpful and friendly waiter, but the entire family were great hosts!
Saw those raving reviews and had to give it a try but was disappointed. The food was average and lacked some much needed flavor. Ordered my tejano plate with no shrimp but got it with shrimp but that was ok if they had gotten the flavor right on the meal. Super burrito, Peluche and Enchilada had the same mediocre taste. Surprisingly the salsa and chips were very average also
