A great little mountain diner that if I was a local, I would eat here regularly. Prices are very fair, and the food was better than expected. The portions were generous. I had the burger and my wife had the pancakes (since you can order breakfast all day). We both left full and happy. Ben was our server, and very attentive and competent. Great place to eat. You’ll be glad you stopped to eat there.

I hadn't been here in probably a couple years. As usual the breakfast was ex excellent. Service was great and prices very fair. Anytime a server walked by, even if not mine, they would ask if I needed anything, how was the omelet and if I needed coffee. An omelet with home fries amd toasf was $11. That is cheaper than any other location in the area. Definitely will be back for more.
I love diners because you never know what to expect. But this spot was a nice hidden gem. The people were great and loving and patent. The lady took here time with us and that was very nice. The food portions are great and the food itself was good.

We were vacationing in Clayton and decided to stop by the Sunday Diner for lunch one day. We loved the family atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was also really delicious! They serve breakfast all day so I was really excited to get a Western omelet and grits at lunchtime. This is truly a family owned and operated restaurant and you can tell how much they care for the people (both staff and customers). Skip the big franchise restaurants and definitely stop by here if you’re in Clayton! Great food and great service!

This little dinner is definitely a hidden gem. We have been going there for a few years now and have never been disappointed. Service and staff are always friendly. Usually the owner is there and always friendly. It is a smaller place with homey eclectic decor. Always Clean . The food is always great well priced and always full when we leave. Great selection and breakfast all day. We stop by every chance we can. We have also tried the food truck at different places and also great.
