Parking: Small but great diner with free on-street parking.. parking becomes a problem at rush hours as the on-street parking is shared by adjoining business in that area.

Very disappointing employees were eating or shoving food down there mouth right in front of you and never washing their hands. And my hamburger steak was ordered well came out raw just disgusting

We're down visiting from Ohio, and my Step-Mum said she had the perfect place for breakfast. I got the bacon, eggs, and cheese sandwich with a side of grits. My son decided that he was going to tackle the 2 pancakes with eggs and sausage. We'll just say that we did not leave hungry. I even ordered a BLT to go for lunch later. My only regret.. not taking a picture before we dug in. Delicious. Thank you ?

Great little dinner for breakfast. I had the French toast that comes with two eggs and bacon. My wife had 2 eggs and potatoes (the potatoes were a little plain) with rye toast. Nice family feel to the restaurant.

We were hoping that past experience and recommendations would prevail, and a take-out Sunday meal of fried chicken would hit the spot. It did not. Between poorly prepared, bland, small portions, and less than sanitary preparation, we ended up with four orders of disappointment. We visit Clayton many times a year and have been for 30+ years. No return for us to the Sunday Diner.Parking: watch out for potholes.

Loved it, just absolutely loved it. I wish we got pics of the food but it came out fast hot and we devoured it. We went breakfast and lunch and wasn't disappointed, AT ALL. So stop in and get some it's delicious.

This place is too good to be true, but it is. Fine food with the best service in a clean and nostalgic atmosphere.
